爾之罪惡必自懲、爾之悖逆必自責、可知離棄爾上帝耶和華、不存寅畏之心、乃惡而且苦之事、萬軍之主耶和華言之矣、

萬有之主耶和華曰、爾犯罪違道、必遭刑譴、俾爾知、遐棄我躬、不畏我威者、必備嘗艱苦。

爾之惡行、使爾受刑、爾之違逆、使爾受譴、爾可知可見爾棄主爾之天主、不敬畏我、必至遭難受苦、此乃主萬有之天主所言、

Your wickedness will punish you; your backsliding will rebuke you. Consider then and realize how evil and bitter it is for you when you forsake the Lord your God and have no awe of me,” declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.

You will be punished because you have sinned. You will be corrected for turning away from me. I am the Lord your God. If you desert me, bad things will happen to you. If you do not respect me, you will suffer bitterly. I want you to understand that,” announces the Lord who rules over all.

Your evil will chastise you, and your apostasy will reprove you. Know and see that it is evil and bitter for you to forsake the Lord your God; the fear of me is not in you, declares the Lord God of hosts.

Your wickedness will bring its own punishment. Your turning from me will shame you. You will see what an evil, bitter thing it is to abandon the Lord your God and not to fear him. I, the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!

Your own evil will discipline you; your own apostasies will reprimand you. Recognize how evil and bitter it is for you to abandon the LORD your God and to have no fear of me. This is the declaration of the Lord GOD of Armies.

「我要使你們的節期變為悲哀，你們一切的歌曲變為哀歌；我要使眾人腰束麻布，頭上光禿；我要使這悲哀如喪獨子，其結局如悲痛的日子。

過犯在惡人的心底向他說話，他的眼中不怕神。

這不是你自己招惹的嗎？不是因耶和華－你神引導你行路時，你離棄了他嗎？

因此，林中的獅子必害死他們，野地的狼必滅絕他們，豹子在城外窺伺。凡出城的必被撕碎，因為他們的罪過極多，背道的事也增加。

我的百姓偏要背離我，他們雖向至高者呼求，他卻不抬舉他們。

所以他們要自食其果，飽脹在自己的計謀中。

耶和華如此說：「我休了你們的母親，她的休書在哪裏呢？我將你們賣給了我哪一個債主呢？看哪，你們被賣是因你們的罪孽；你們的母親被休，是因你們的過犯。

你們難道不懼怕我嗎？在我面前還不戰兢嗎？這是耶和華說的。我以沙為海的界限，作永遠的條例，使它不得越過。波浪洶湧，卻不能勝過；怒濤澎湃，仍無法越過。

以色列啊，你要歸向耶和華－你的神，你因自己的罪孽跌倒了。

猶底念了三、四段，王就用文士的刀把書卷割破，丟在火盆裏，直到全卷在火中燒盡了。王和聽見這一切話的臣僕都不懼怕，也不撕裂衣服。

他們眼中不怕神。」

「你們這背道的兒女啊，回來吧！我要醫治你們背道的病。」「看哪，我們來到你這裏，因你是耶和華－我們的神。

以色列倔強，猶如倔強的母牛；現在耶和華能牧放他們，如在寬闊之地牧放羔羊嗎？

惡人被自己的罪孽抓住，被自己罪惡的繩索纏繞。

他們卻不留意；聳肩悖逆，耳朵發沉，不肯聽從。

他的骨頭雖然滿有年輕的活力，卻要和他一同躺臥在塵土之中。「他口中以惡為甘甜，把惡藏在舌頭底下，愛戀不捨，含在口中。他的食物在肚裏卻要翻轉，在他裏面成為虺蛇的毒液。他吞了財寶，還要吐出；神要從他腹中掏出來。他必吸飲虺蛇的毒汁，毒蛇的舌頭必殺他。

這耶路撒冷的百姓為何永久背道呢？他們抓住詭詐，不肯回頭。

耶和華對我說：「背道的以色列比奸詐的猶大還顯為義。你去向北方宣告這些話，說：『背道的以色列啊，回來吧！這是耶和華說的。我必不怒目看你們，因為我是慈愛的，這是耶和華說的。我必不永遠懷怒；只要承認你的罪孽，就是違背耶和華－你的神，在各青翠的樹下追逐外族的神明，沒有聽從我的話。這是耶和華說的。背道的兒女啊，回來吧！這是耶和華說的。因為我作你們的丈夫，要將你們從一城取一人，從一族取兩人，帶到錫安。

約西亞王在位的時候，耶和華對我說：「你看見背道的以色列所做的嗎？她上到各高山，在各青翠的樹下行淫。我說：『她行這些事以後會回轉歸向我』，她卻不回轉。她奸詐的妹妹猶大也看見了。我看見背道的以色列行淫，我為這緣故給她休書休了她，她奸詐的妹妹猶大還不懼怕，也去行淫。

現在我告訴你們，我要向我的葡萄園怎麼做。我必撤去籬笆，使它被燒燬；拆毀圍牆，使它被踐踏。
