我一出言、則為哀慘之詞、所宣告、俱論敵人強暴刼奪之事、我傳主言、終日被人羞辱藐視、

Whenever I speak, I cry out proclaiming violence and destruction. So the word of the Lord has brought me insult and reproach all day long.

Every time I speak, I cry out. All you ever tell me to talk about is fighting and trouble. Your message has brought me nothing but dishonor. It has made me suffer shame all day long.

For whenever I speak, I cry out, I shout,“ Violence and destruction!” For the word of the Lord has become for me a reproach and derision all day long.

When I speak, the words burst out.“ Violence and destruction!” I shout. So these messages from the Lord have made me a household joke.

For whenever I speak, I cry out, I proclaim,“ Violence and destruction!” so the word of the LORD has become my constant disgrace and derision.

For each time I speak, I cry aloud; I proclaim violence and destruction, Because for me the word of the Lord has resulted In taunting and derision all day long.

For when I spoke, I cried out; I shouted,“ Violence and plunder!” Because the word of the Lord was made to me A reproach and a derision daily.

For as often as I speak, I cry out; I cry, Violence and destruction! because the word of Jehovah is made a reproach unto me, and a derision, all the day.

For whenever I speak, I cry out, I proclaim,“ Violence and destruction!” because the word of the Lord has become for me constant disgrace and derision.

For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.

For whenever I prophesy, I must cry out,“ Violence and destruction are coming!” This message from the LORD has made me an object of continual insults and derision.

For as often as I speak, I cry out; I cry,“ Violence and destruction!” because Yahweh’s word has been made a reproach to me, and a derision, all day.

But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the Lord was aroused against his people and there was no remedy. (niv)

To whom can I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear. The word of the Lord is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it. (niv)

From early times the prophets who preceded you and me have prophesied war, disaster and plague against many countries and great kingdoms. (niv)

Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. (niv)

If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. (niv)

People of Israel,” declares the Lord,“ I am bringing a distant nation against you— an ancient and enduring nation, a people whose language you do not know, whose speech you do not understand.Their quivers are like an open grave; all of them are mighty warriors.They will devour your harvests and food, devour your sons and daughters; they will devour your flocks and herds, devour your vines and fig trees. Therefore a lion from the forest will attack them, a wolf from the desert will ravage them, a leopard will lie in wait near their towns to tear to pieces any who venture out, for their rebellion is great and their backslidings many. (niv)

“ Your wealth and your treasures I will give as plunder, without charge, because of all your sins throughout your country.I will enslave you to your enemies in a land you do not know, for my anger will kindle a fire that will burn against you.” (niv)

I will make them fall by the sword before their enemies, at the hands of those who want to kill them, and I will give their carcasses as food to the birds and the wild animals.I will devastate this city and make it an object of horror and scorn; all who pass by will be appalled and will scoff because of all its wounds.I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and daughters, and they will eat one another’s flesh because their enemies will press the siege so hard against them to destroy them.’“ Then break the jar while those who go with you are watching,and say to them,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty says: I will smash this nation and this city just as this potter’s jar is smashed and cannot be repaired. They will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room. (niv)

One of the experts in the law answered him,“ Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us also.” (niv)
