你若不歸順巴比倫王的官長，這城必交在迦勒底人手中。他們必用火焚燒，你也不得脫離他們的手。」

「耶和華－以色列的神說，你去告訴猶大王西底家，耶和華如此說：看哪，我要把這城交在巴比倫王的手中，他必用火焚燒。

耶和華向行惡的人變臉，要從地上除滅他們的名字。

「人必將你的后妃和你的兒女帶到迦勒底人那裏；你也不得脫離他們的手，必被巴比倫王的手捉住，這城也必被火焚燒。」

「凡以色列家中的任何人，或寄居在他們中間的外人，吃任何的血，我必向那吃血的人變臉，把他從百姓中剪除。

我要向你們變臉，使你們敗在仇敵的面前。恨惡你們的必管轄你們；無人追趕，你們卻要逃跑。

我就必使這殿如示羅，使這城成為地上萬國所詛咒的。』」

看哪，我要吩咐他們回到這城，攻打這城，將城攻取，用火焚燒；我也要使猶大的城鎮變為廢墟，無人居住。這是耶和華說的。」

你們若不聽從我，不以安息日為聖日，仍在安息日挑擔子進入耶路撒冷的各城門，我必在城門中點火；這火必燒燬耶路撒冷的宮殿，不會熄滅。」

耶和華如此說：看哪，我必將這城交給迦勒底人的手和巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手，他必攻取這城。攻城的迦勒底人必來放火焚燒這城和城裏的房屋；人曾在這房頂上向巴力燒香，向別神獻澆酒祭，惹我發怒。以色列人和猶大人從年輕時，就專做我眼中看為惡的事。以色列人盡以手所做的惹我發怒。這是耶和華說的。這城自從建造的那日直到今日，常惹我的怒氣和憤怒，以致我將這城從我面前除掉；

迦勒底人必再來攻打這城，並要攻下，用火焚燒。耶和華如此說：你們不要自欺說「迦勒底人必定離開我們」，因為他們必不離開。你們即使擊敗與你們爭戰的迦勒底全軍，他們當中剩下受傷的人也必各自從帳棚裏起來，用火焚燒這城。』」

然而我的言語和律例，就是我所吩咐我僕人眾先知的，豈不臨到你們的祖先嗎？他們就回轉，說：萬軍之耶和華定意按我們的所作所為對待我們，他也已經照樣行了。」

我也要向那人變臉，把他從百姓中剪除，因為他把兒女獻給摩洛，玷污了我的聖所，褻瀆了我的聖名。那人把兒女獻給摩洛，本地的百姓若假裝沒看見，不把他處死，我就要向這人和他的家人變臉，把他和所有跟隨他與摩洛行淫的人都從百姓中剪除。
