For this is what the Lord says about the palace of the king of Judah:“ Though you are like Gilead to me, like the summit of Lebanon, I will surely make you like a wasteland, like towns not inhabited.

The Lord speaks about the palace of the king of Judah. He says,“ You are like the land of Gilead to me. You are like the highest mountain in Lebanon. But I will make you like a desert. You will become like towns that no one lives in.

For thus says the Lord concerning the house of the king of Judah:“‘ You are like Gilead to me, like the summit of Lebanon, yet surely I will make you a desert, an uninhabited city.

Now this is what the Lord says concerning Judah’s royal palace:“ I love you as much as fruitful Gilead and the green forests of Lebanon. But I will turn you into a desert, with no one living within your walls.

For this is what the LORD says concerning the house of the king of Judah:“ You are like Gilead to me, or the summit of Lebanon, but I will certainly turn you into a wilderness, uninhabited cities.

For this is what the Lord says concerning the house of the king of Judah:“ You are like Gilead to Me, Like the summit of Lebanon; Yet most assuredly I will make you a wilderness, Cities that are not inhabited.

For thus says the Lord to the house of the king of Judah:“ You are Gilead to Me, The head of Lebanon; Yet I surely will make you a wilderness, Cities which are not inhabited.

For thus saith Jehovah concerning the house of the king of Judah: Thou art Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon; yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.

For this is what the Lord says concerning the house of the king of Judah: You are like Gilead to Me, or the summit of Lebanon, but I will certainly turn you into a wilderness, uninhabited cities.

For thus saith the LORD unto the king’s house of Judah; Thou[ art] Gilead unto me,[ and] the head of Lebanon:[ yet] surely I will make thee a wilderness,[ and] cities[ which] are not inhabited.

“‘ For the LORD says concerning the palace of the king of Judah,“ This place looks like a veritable forest of Gilead to me. It is like the wooded heights of Lebanon in my eyes. But I swear that I will make it like a wilderness whose towns have all been deserted.

For Yahweh says concerning the house of the king of Judah:“ You are Gilead to me, the head of Lebanon. Yet surely I will make you a wilderness, cities which are not inhabited.

我就说：“主啊，这到几时为止呢？”他说：“直到城镇荒凉，无人居住，房屋空无一人，土地极其荒芜；

使肥沃之地变为荒芜的盐地，都因当地居民的邪恶。

因此，为你们的缘故，锡安要被耕种像一块田地，耶路撒冷要变为废墟，这殿的山必如丛林的高处。

因为坚固的城变为荒凉，成了被撇弃的居所，像旷野一样；牛犊在那里吃草，在那里躺卧，吃尽其中的树枝。

那时，我必止息犹大城镇和耶路撒冷街上欢喜和快乐的声音、新郎和新娘的声音，因为这地必然荒芜。”

我必使耶路撒冷成为废墟，为野狗的住处，也必使犹大的城镇荒废，无人居住。

“当犹大王希西家的日子，有摩利沙人弥迦对犹大众百姓预言说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：锡安要被耕种像一块田地，耶路撒冷要变为废墟，这殿的山必像丛林的高处。’

他们坐下吃饭，举目观看，看哪，有一群以实玛利人从基列来，用骆驼驮着香料、乳香、没药，要带下埃及去。

求你让我过去，看约旦河另一边的美地，就是那佳美的山区和黎巴嫩。’

我就必使这殿如示罗，使这城成为地上万国所诅咒的。’”耶利米在耶和华殿中所说的这些话，祭司、先知与众百姓都听见了。耶利米说完了耶和华吩咐他对众百姓说的一切话，祭司、先知与众百姓都来抓住他，说：“你该死！你为何假借耶和华的名预言，说这殿必如示罗，这城必荒废无人居住呢？”于是众百姓都聚集在耶和华的殿中围住耶利米。

我必按你们行事的结果惩罚你们，也必使火在耶路撒冷的林中燃起，将四围所有的尽行烧灭。这是耶和华说的。”

你要对他们这样说，主耶和华如此说：我指着我的永生起誓，在废墟的，必倒在刀下；在田野的，必交给野兽吞吃；在堡垒和洞中的，必遭瘟疫而死。我必使这地荒废荒凉，它骄傲的权势也必止息；以色列的山都必荒废，无人经过。

看哪，我必召北方的众族和我仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒前来攻击这地和这地的居民，并四围所有的国民。我要将他们尽行灭绝，以致他们令人惊骇、嗤笑，并且永久荒凉。这是耶和华说的。我又要止息他们欢喜和快乐的声音、新郎和新娘的声音、推磨的声音和灯的亮光。

毁坏的信息不断传来，因为全地荒废。我的帐棚忽然毁坏，我的幔子顷刻破裂。

耶和华说：“约雅敬的儿子犹大王哥尼雅，虽是我右手上带印的戒指，我凭我的永生起誓，我必将你从其上摘下来。

看哪，耶和华使地空虚，变为荒芜，地面扭曲，居民四散。那时，百姓如何，祭司也如何；仆人如何，主人也如何；婢女如何，主母也如何；买主如何，卖主也如何；放债的如何，借贷的也如何；债主如何，欠债的也如何。地必全然空虚，尽都荒芜，因为这话是耶和华说的。大地悲哀凋零，世界败落衰残，地上居高位的人也没落了。地被其上的居民所污秽，因为他们犯了律法，废了律例，背了永约。所以，诅咒吞灭大地，住在其上的都有罪；地上的居民被火焚烧，剩下的人稀少。

他的腿好比白玉石柱，安在精金座上；他的容貌如黎巴嫩，佳美如香柏树。

“至于犹大王的家，你们当听耶和华的话。

我要在这地方使犹大和耶路撒冷的计谋落空，也必使他们在仇敌面前倒在刀下，倒在寻索其命的人手下。我要把他们的尸首给空中的飞鸟和地上的走兽作食物。我必使这城令人惊骇嘲笑；凡路过的，必因这城所遭的灾难惊骇嘲笑。
