This is what each of you keeps saying to your friends and other Israelites:‘ What is the Lord’s answer?’ or‘ What has the Lord spoken?’

Here is what each of you people keeps on saying to your friends and other Israelites. You ask,‘ What is the Lord’ s answer?’ Or you ask,‘ What has the Lord spoken?’

Thus shall you say, every one to his neighbor and every one to his brother,‘ What has the Lord answered?’ or‘ What has the Lord spoken?’

You should keep asking each other,‘ What is the Lord’s answer?’ or‘ What is the Lord saying?’

This is what each man is to say to his friend and to his brother:‘ What has the LORD answered?’ or‘ What has the LORD spoken?’

‘ Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ (niv)
