Now reform your ways and your actions and obey the Lord your God. Then the Lord will relent and not bring the disaster he has pronounced against you.

So change the way you live and act. Obey the Lord your God. Then he won’t do what he said he would. He won’t bring on you the trouble he said he would bring.

Now therefore mend your ways and your deeds, and obey the voice of the Lord your God, and the Lord will relent of the disaster that he has pronounced against you.

But if you stop your sinning and begin to obey the Lord your God, he will change his mind about this disaster that he has announced against you.

So now, correct your ways and deeds, and obey the LORD your God so that he might relent concerning the disaster he had pronounced against you.

This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place.Do not trust in deceptive words and say,“ This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord!”If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly,if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm,then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever. Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.” (niv)

and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned. (niv)

Then the Lord relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened. (niv)

Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (niv)
