I will pursue them with the sword, famine and plague and will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth, a curse and an object of horror, of scorn and reproach, among all the nations where I drive them.

I will hunt them down with war, hunger and plague. I will make all the kingdoms on earth displeased with them. They will use their name in a curse. All the nations where I drive them will be shocked at them. They will make fun of them. And they will bring shame on them.

萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華又曰、昔我震怒、降災於耶路撒冷居民、今爾欲居埃及、我必震怒、降災於爾、且為人咒詛駭異、受人凌侮嗟訝、不得歸於故土。

耶和華降災於猶大族耶路撒冷民、俾其困苦、人見之駭異、作怨憤之聲、今日之事為證。

流離於萬邦、斯何故與、因猶大王希西家子馬拿西所行於耶路撒冷、

我必驅逐、散於列邦、遭人陷害凌辱、受人詛咒譏刺。

耶和華必使爾為敵所敗、爾合一處而去、必分七途而遁、播棄於天下億兆之中。

凡過耶路撒冷者、鼓掌搖首、作怨憤之聲、曰、天下素稱華國樂土者、非此邑乎。敵口孔張、切齒憤聲、曰、我所望者、今日之事、斯邑吞噬、我所目睹兮。

我必使我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率北方之眾、攻斯土之民、及四周鄰國、滅之殆盡、使見之者駭愕、皆作怨聲。

故耶和華曰、我有所命、爾不聽從、同儕同族、爾不縱之。則我必縱鋒刃以戮爾、縱饑饉以斃爾、縱疫癘以亡爾、散爾於列邦。

既散之於列邦、令彼曉然、我乃耶和華。

我耶和華將翦滅爾、垂戒選民、惟予臣僕、必錫新名、

爾散於列邦、中有遺民、得脫鋒刃、我使之然。

我將於所賜之地、殲滅以色列族、我所成聖之殿、為籲名之所者必毀、使以色列族為兆民作歌譏刺。凡過此有名之殿宇、必駭異、作怨憤之聲。如有詢及者曰、耶和華毀此殿、害此國也、曷故。

如爾背逆、棄所命之禮儀禁令、奉事他上帝、我必拔斯民之根株、驅於所錫之地、我所成聖之殿、為籲我名之所者、必廢、使兆民作歌譏刺。凡過此有名之殿宇、必駭異、如有詢及者曰、耶和華燬此殿、害此國也、曷故。則必曰、昔上帝耶和華導其列祖、出於埃及、彼乃違逆、反簡他上帝、奉事崇拜、故耶和華降以是災。

散之於異邦族類、視其所為、而降其罰。

厥後猶大之民、俘囚於巴比倫者、凡咒詛必指斯二人為口實、曰、願耶和華使予敵人、若西底家亞哈、為巴比倫王炙之以火。

我散斯眾於列邦、至於素不識之地、使膏腴之壤、變為荒蕪、無人往來、遍境寂寞。

在以色列諸支派中、耶和華必區別之、加以譴責、循此書所載之詛言。後世子孫、遠方賓旅、列邦眾庶、見此地之禍、暨耶和華所降之災、硫磺及鹽、焚燬徧地、不得耕耘、無物產、無草萊、如所多馬、蛾摩拉、押馬、西編、為耶和華所怒、而使之傾覆者、俱必問曰、耶和華降罰於斯土、何為至於如此、其烈怒之甚、又曷故乎。人必曰、昔導斯民出於埃及、其祖之上帝耶和華與之立約、斯民違其言、從他上帝而崇奉之、然他上帝彼所未識、耶和華亦未嘗姑聽其服事、故震怒斯民、以書所載之咒詛、加乎其身。耶和華怒甚烈、氣甚憤、拔其根株、驅逐於異邦、即以今日之事為證。

我必散爾於列邦異族中、使爾不復淫亂。

死於刀刃、擄於諸國、耶路撒冷為異邦人蹂踐、迨異邦人之期滿焉、○

耶和華將使爾散處於億兆中自地極至天涯、在彼必事他上帝、木石所作、即爾祖及爾素未識者。

則我必棄此殿宇、與昔棄示羅無異、使此邑為列邦所詛。

我必使此邑荒蕪、人發怨聲、過斯土者見此鞠凶、則驚愕欷歔不已。

我必散爾於異邦、襲爾以白刃、荒寂爾居、掃除爾邑。

散處於異邦、見噬若群羊兮、

我必使以色列族散於列邦、若簸揚於篩、一粒之穀、不使隕落、
