I will give you shepherds who are loyal to Me, and they will shepherd you with knowledge and skill.

民牧若得我心者、我必立之、使以智慧、治理爾曹。

必為爾立合我心之牧人、俾以智慧明哲牧爾、

Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.

Then I will give you shepherds who are dear to my heart. Their knowledge and understanding will help them lead you.

“‘ And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will guide you with knowledge and understanding.

I will give you shepherds who are loyal to me, and they will shepherd you with knowledge and skill.

“ Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you knowledge and understanding.

And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

And I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

I will give you leaders who will be faithful to me. They will lead you with knowledge and insight.

I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

I will raise up shepherds over them who will shepherd them. They will no longer be afraid or dismayed, nor will any be missing.” This is the Lord’s declaration.

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock that the Holy Spirit has appointed you to as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

I will appoint over them a single shepherd, My servant David, and he will shepherd them. He will tend them himself and will be their shepherd.

And He personally gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,for the training of the saints in the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ,

You know that I love You.”“ Feed My sheep,” Jesus said.

Brothers, I was not able to speak to you as spiritual people but as people of the flesh, as babies in Christ.I gave you milk to drink, not solid food, because you were not yet ready for it. In fact, you are still not ready,

The Lord will give you meager bread and water during oppression, but your Teacher will not hide Himself any longer. Your eyes will see your Teacher,and whenever you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you:“ This is the way. Walk in it.”

My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My ordinances, and keep My statutes and obey them.

The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of sense.

The Lord said:“ Who then is the faithful and sensible manager his master will put in charge of his household servants to give them their allotted food at the proper time?

However, we do speak a wisdom among the mature, but not a wisdom of this age, or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.

Therefore, as a fellow elder and witness to the sufferings of the Messiah and also a participant in the glory about to be revealed, I exhort the elders among you:Shepherd God’s flock among you, not overseeing out of compulsion but freely, according to God’s will; not for the money but eagerly;not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

He will stand and shepherd them in the strength of Yahweh, in the majestic name of Yahweh His God. They will live securely, for then His greatness will extend to the ends of the earth.He will be their peace. When Assyria invades our land, when it marches against our fortresses, we will raise against it seven shepherds, even eight leaders of men.

but now your reign will not endure. The Lord has found a man loyal to Him, and the Lord has appointed him as ruler over His people, because you have not done what the Lord commanded.”

Although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the basic principles of God’s revelation again. You need milk, not solid food.Now everyone who lives on milk is inexperienced with the message about righteousness, because he is an infant.But solid food is for the mature— for those whose senses have been trained to distinguish between good and evil.

“ I assure you: Anyone who doesn’t enter the sheep pen by the door but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber.The one who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.The doorkeeper opens it for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.When he has brought all his own outside, he goes ahead of them. The sheep follow him because they recognize his voice.They will never follow a stranger; instead they will run away from him, because they don’t recognize the voice of strangers.”

Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.

Like newborn infants, desire the pure spiritual milk, so that you may grow by it for your salvation,
