主曰、我護祐爾、拯救爾、我散爾於列邦、雖盡滅此邦、而不盡滅爾、雖不以爾為無罪、我仍責爾惟寛、○

I am with you and will save you,’ declares the Lord.‘ Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.’

Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted; propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us. (niv)

They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord. (niv)

But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth.The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (niv)

“ Yet even in those days,” declares the Lord,“ I will not destroy you completely. (niv)

Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath. (niv)

“ Go through her vineyards and ravage them, but do not destroy them completely. Strip off her branches, for these people do not belong to the Lord. (niv)

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (niv)

“ Therefore say:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.’“ Therefore say:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.’ (niv)

“ The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”( which means“ God with us”). (niv)

Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out in a loud voice,“ Alas, Sovereign Lord! Will you completely destroy the remnant of Israel?” (niv)

So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened, (niv)

Has the Lord struck her as he struck down those who struck her? Has she been killed as those were killed who killed her?By warfare and exile you contend with her— with his fierce blast he drives her out, as on a day the east wind blows. (niv)

Isaiah cries out concerning Israel:“ Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved.For the Lord will carry out his sentence on earth with speed and finality.”It is just as Isaiah said previously:“ Unless the Lord Almighty had left us descendants, we would have become like Sodom, we would have been like Gomorrah.” (niv)

“ Surely the eyes of the Sovereign Lord are on the sinful kingdom. I will destroy it from the face of the earth. Yet I will not totally destroy the descendants of Jacob,” declares the Lord.“ For I will give the command, and I will shake the people of Israel among all the nations as grain is shaken in a sieve, and not a pebble will reach the ground.
