Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which Jehovah did choose, he hath cast them off? thus do they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

“你没有留意这百姓所说的话吗？他们说：‘耶和华所拣选的二族，他已经弃绝了。’他们这样藐视我的百姓，不把他们当作国来看待。

“你听见了吗？人们说，‘耶和华已经弃绝了祂所拣选的以色列和犹大两个国家。’他们藐视我的子民，视他们为亡国之民。

“你没有留意列国的人民说什么吗？他们说：‘耶和华所拣选的这两个家族，他已经弃绝了。’他们藐视我的子民，不再把他们看为一个国家。

「你聽見了嗎？人們說，『耶和華已經棄絕了祂所揀選的以色列和猶大兩個國家。』他們藐視我的子民，視他們為亡國之民。

“你沒有留意列國的人民說甚麼嗎？他們說：‘耶和華所揀選的這兩個家族，他已經棄絕了。’他們藐視我的子民，不再把他們看為一個國家。

『這人民講些甚麼話你沒有看明白麼？他們說：「永恆主所揀選的二族、他已經棄絕了」，因此列國的人就藐視我的人民，不再拿他們當列國中的一國看待。

斯民所云、耶和華已棄其所選之二族、其言爾不思之乎、彼若斯篾視我民、以為不復成國、

爾聞人言、昔耶和華所選之二族、今遐棄之、於是人藐視我民、不以為邦國、

斯民所言、爾不知乎、彼曰、昔主所選之二族、今已棄之、彼如是藐視我民、目中視之不復為邦國、

“ Have you not noticed that these people are saying,‘ The Lord has rejected the two kingdoms he chose’? So they despise my people and no longer regard them as a nation.

“ Haven’t you noticed what these people are saying? They say,‘ The Lord once chose the two kingdoms of Israel and Judah. But now he has turned his back on them.’ So they hate my people. They do not think of them as a nation anymore.

“ Have you not observed that these people are saying,‘ The Lord has rejected the two clans that he chose’? Thus they have despised my people so that they are no longer a nation in their sight.

“ Have you noticed what people are saying?—‘ The Lord chose Judah and Israel and then abandoned them!’ They are sneering and saying that Israel is not worthy to be counted as a nation.

“ Have you not noticed what these people have said? They say,‘ The LORD has rejected the two families he had chosen.’ My people are treated with contempt and no longer regarded as a nation among them.

“ Have you not observed what these people have asserted, saying,‘ The two families which the Lord chose, He has rejected them’? So they despise My people as no longer being a nation in their sight.

“ Have you not considered what these people have spoken, saying,‘ The two families which the Lord has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they have despised My people, as if they should no more be a nation before them.

“ Have you not noticed what these people have said? They say,‘ The Lord has rejected the two families He had chosen.’ My people are treated with contempt and no longer regarded as a nation among them.

Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

“ You have surely noticed what these people are saying, haven’t you? They are saying,‘ The LORD has rejected the two families of Israel and Judah that he chose.’ So they have little regard that my people will ever again be a nation.

“ Don’t consider what this people has spoken, saying,‘ Has Yahweh cast off the two families which he chose?’ Thus they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.”

And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What are these feeble Jews doing? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, seeing they are burned?Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they are building, if a fox go up, he shall break down their stone wall.Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn back their reproach upon their own head, and give them up for a spoil in a land of captivity;

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbors, A scoffing and a derision to them that are round about us.Thou makest us a byword among the nations, A shaking of the head among the peoples.

Depart ye, they cried unto them, Unclean! depart, depart, touch not! When they fled away and wandered, men said among the nations, They shall no more sojourn here.

For Jehovah will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance.

then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he shall not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured; so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

All that pass by clap their hands at thee; They hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men called The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?All thine enemies have opened their mouth wide against thee; They hiss and gnash the teeth; they say, We have swallowed her up; Certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.

Son of man, because that Tyre hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gate of the peoples; she is turned unto me; I shall be replenished, now that she is laid waste:

and I will make them one nation in the land, upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all;

and say unto the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

I say then, Did God cast off his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.God did not cast off his people which he foreknew. Or know ye not what the scripture saith of Elijah? how he pleadeth with God against Israel:Lord, they have killed thy prophets, they have digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have left for myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal.Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.But if it is by grace, it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are ours in possession;

But he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had made known to him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.In the first month, which is the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, which is the month Adar.And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from those of every people; neither keep they the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s profit to suffer them.

Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas Jehovah was there:therefore, as I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast showed out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I shall judge thee.And thou shalt know that I, Jehovah, have heard all thy revilings which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to devour.And ye have magnified yourselves against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard it.Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.As thou didst rejoice over the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Edom, even all of it; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith Jehovah; because they have called thee an outcast, saying, It is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

Have mercy upon us, O Jehovah, have mercy upon us; For we are exceedingly filled with contempt.Our soul is exceedingly filled With the scoffing of those that are at ease, And with the contempt of the proud.

Saying, God hath forsaken him: Pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver.
