This is what the LORD says: If I do not keep my covenant with the day and with the night, and if I fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,

耶和华如此说：‘若是我立白日黑夜的约不能存住，若是我未曾安排天地的定例，

耶和华如此说：除非我没有立白日黑夜之约，也未曾安排天和地的定例，

耶和华如此说：除非我没有立白日黑夜之约，也未曾安排天和地的定例，

然而，耶和华说，‘正如我决不废弃我所定的昼夜交替和天地运行之律，

惟我曰、我與晝夜立約、必不爽之、我定天地之例、必不廢之、

主如是云、我所立晝夜之約、所定天地之例、

This is what the Lord says:‘ If I have not made my covenant with day and night and established the laws of heaven and earth,

I say,‘ What if I had not made my covenant with day and night? What if I had not established the laws of heaven and earth?

Thus says the Lord: If I have not established my covenant with day and night and the fixed order of heaven and earth,

But this is what the Lord says: I would no more reject my people than I would change my laws that govern night and day, earth and sky.

This is what the Lord says:‘ If My covenant for day and night does not continue, and I have not established the fixed patterns of heaven and earth,

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth,

Thus saith Jehovah: If my covenant of day and night stand not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

This is what the Lord says: If I do not keep My covenant with the day and with the night and fail to establish the fixed order of heaven and earth,

Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant[ be] not with day and night,[ and if] I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

But I, the LORD, make the following promise: I have made a covenant governing the coming of day and night. I have established the fixed laws governing heaven and earth.

Yahweh says:“ If my covenant of day and night fails, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

The day is yours, also the night; you established the moon and the sun.You set all the boundaries of the earth; you made summer and winter.

He made the moon to mark the festivals; the sun knows when to set.

“ This is what the LORD says: The one who gives the sun for light by day, the fixed order of moon and stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea and makes its waves roar— the LORD of Armies is his name:If this fixed order departs from before me— this is the LORD’s declaration— only then will Israel’s descendants cease to be a nation before me forever.

“ This is what the LORD says: If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night so that day and night cease to come at their regular time,

As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will not cease.”

“ Understand that I am establishing my covenant with you and your descendants after you,and with every living creature that is with you— birds, livestock, and all wildlife of the earth that are with you— all the animals of the earth that came out of the ark.I establish my covenant with you that never again will every creature be wiped out by floodwaters; there will never again be a flood to destroy the earth.”And God said,“ This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all future generations:I have placed my bow in the clouds, and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.Whenever I form clouds over the earth and the bow appears in the clouds,I will remember my covenant between me and you and all the living creatures: water will never again become a flood to destroy every creature.The bow will be in the clouds, and I will look at it and remember the permanent covenant between God and all the living creatures on earth.”God said to Noah,“ This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and every creature on earth.”
