Then the officials said to Baruch,“ You and Jeremiah, go and hide. Don’t let anyone know where you are.”

Then the officials spoke to Baruch. They said,“ You and Jeremiah must go and hide. Don’t let anyone know where you are.”

Then the officials said to Baruch,“ Go and hide, you and Jeremiah, and let no one know where you are.”

“ You and Jeremiah should both hide,” the officials told Baruch.“ Don’t tell anyone where you are!”

The officials said to Baruch,“ You and Jeremiah must hide and tell no one where you are.”

Then the officials said to Baruch,“ Go, hide yourself, you and Jeremiah, and do not let anyone know where you are.”

Then the princes said to Baruch,“ Go and hide, you and Jeremiah; and let no one know where you are.”

Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye are.

The officials said to Baruch,“ You and Jeremiah must hide yourselves and tell no one where you are.”

Instead, the king commanded Jerahmeel, a son of the king, Seraiah son of Azriel and Shelemiah son of Abdeel to arrest Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet. But the Lord had hidden them. (niv)

While Jezebel was killing off the Lord’s prophets, Obadiah had taken a hundred prophets and hidden them in two caves, fifty in each, and had supplied them with food and water.) (niv)

As surely as the Lord your God lives, there is not a nation or kingdom where my master has not sent someone to look for you. And whenever a nation or kingdom claimed you were not there, he made them swear they could not find you. (niv)

The anger of the Lord burned against Amaziah, and he sent a prophet to him, who said,“ Why do you consult this people’s gods, which could not save their own people from your hand?” (niv)

But when the son of Paul’s sister heard of this plot, he went into the barracks and told Paul.Then Paul called one of the centurions and said,“ Take this young man to the commander; he has something to tell him.”So he took him to the commander. The centurion said,“ Paul, the prisoner, sent for me and asked me to bring this young man to you because he has something to tell you.”The commander took the young man by the hand, drew him aside and asked,“ What is it you want to tell me?”He said:“ Some Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul before the Sanhedrin tomorrow on the pretext of wanting more accurate information about him.Don’t give in to them, because more than forty of them are waiting in ambush for him. They have taken an oath not to eat or drink until they have killed him. They are ready now, waiting for your consent to their request.”The commander dismissed the young man with this warning:“ Don’t tell anyone that you have reported this to me.” (niv)

His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. (niv)
