King Zedekiah, however, sent Jehukal son of Shelemiah with the priest Zephaniah son of Maaseiah to Jeremiah the prophet with this message:“ Please pray to the Lord our God for us.”

But King Zedekiah sent Jehukal to Jeremiah the prophet. Zedekiah sent Zephaniah the priest along with him. Jehukal was the son of Shelemiah. Zephaniah was the son of Maaseiah. Jehukal and Zephaniah brought the king’s message to Jeremiah. It said,“ Please pray to the Lord our God for us.”

King Zedekiah sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the priest, the son of Maaseiah, to Jeremiah the prophet, saying,“ Please pray for us to the Lord our God.”

Nevertheless, King Zedekiah sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the priest, son of Maaseiah, to ask Jeremiah,“ Please pray to the Lord our God for us.”

Nevertheless, King Zedekiah sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, requesting,“ Please pray to the LORD our God on our behalf!”

Yet King Zedekiah sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and the priest Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, to Jeremiah the prophet, saying,“ Please pray to the Lord our God in our behalf.”

And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, saying,“ Pray now to the Lord our God for us.”

And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto Jehovah our God for us.

Nevertheless, King Zedekiah sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah son of Maaseiah, the priest, to Jeremiah the prophet, requesting,“ Please pray to the Lord our God for us!”

And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the LORD our God for us.

King Zedekiah sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah and the priest Zephaniah son of Maaseiah to the prophet Jeremiah. He told them to say,“ Please pray to the LORD our God on our behalf.”

Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, saying,“ Pray now to Yahweh our God for us.”

耶和華的話臨到耶利米。那時，西底家王差派瑪基雅的兒子巴施戶珥和瑪西雅的兒子西番雅祭司到他那裏去，說：「請你為我們求問耶和華，因為巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒前來攻擊我們；或者耶和華照他一切奇妙的作為待我們，使巴比倫王離開我們而去。」

王對神人說：「請你為我禱告，向耶和華－你的神懇求恩惠，使我的手復原。」於是神人向耶和華懇求，王的手就復原了，如平常一樣。

萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你曾用自己的名送信給耶路撒冷的眾百姓和瑪西雅的兒子西番雅祭司，並眾祭司，說：

護衛長拿住西萊雅大祭司、西番亞副祭司和門口的三個守衛，

他們向木頭說：『你是我的父』；向石頭說：『你是生我的。』他們以背向我，不肯以面向我；及至遭遇患難時卻說：『起來拯救我們吧！』

西門回答說：「請你們為我求主，使你們所說的，沒有一樣臨到我身上。」

你們行詭詐害自己；因為你們請我到耶和華－你們神那裏，說：『請你為我們向耶和華－我們的神禱告，你把耶和華－我們神所說的一切告訴我們，我們就必遵行。』

對耶利米先知說：「請你准我們在你面前祈求，為我們這倖存的人向耶和華－你的神禱告。我們本來眾多，現在剩下的極少，這是你親眼看見的。願耶和華－你的神指示我們當走的路，當做的事。」耶利米先知對他們說：「我已經聽見了，看哪，我必照你們的話向耶和華－你們的神禱告。耶和華無論回答甚麼，我都必告訴你們，絕不隱瞞。」

萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神論哥賴雅的兒子亞哈和瑪西雅的兒子西底家如此說：『他們託我的名向你們說假預言，看哪，我必把他們交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，他要在你們眼前殺害他們。

請你們祈求耶和華，因神的雷轟和冰雹已經夠了。我要放你們走，你們不用再留下來了。」

法老說：「我可以放你們走，在曠野向耶和華－你們的神獻祭，只是不可走得太遠。你們要為我祈禱。」

法老召摩西和亞倫來，說：「請你們祈求耶和華使這些青蛙離開我和我的百姓，我就讓這百姓去向耶和華獻祭。」

現在求你，就這一次，饒恕我的罪，祈求耶和華－你們的神救我脫離這次的死亡。」

眾百姓對撒母耳說：「請你為僕人向耶和華－你的神禱告，免得我們死亡，因為我們求立王的事，正是罪上加罪了。」

百姓到摩西那裏，說：「我們有罪了，因為我們向耶和華和你發怨言。求你向耶和華禱告，叫蛇離開我們。」於是摩西為百姓禱告。

瑪坦的兒子示法提雅、巴施戶珥的兒子基大利、示利米雅的兒子猶甲、瑪基雅的兒子巴示戶珥聽見耶利米對眾百姓所說的話，說：
