But if you refuse to surrender, this is what the Lord has revealed to me:

Don’t refuse to give yourself up. The Lord has shown me what will happen if you do.

The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’And whether they listen or fail to listen— for they are a rebellious people— they will know that a prophet has been among them. (niv)

So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said to him,“ This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says:‘ How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, so that they may worship me.If you refuse to let them go, I will bring locusts into your country tomorrow. (niv)

Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you,” declares the Lord.“ I will save you from the hands of the wicked and deliver you from the grasp of the cruel.” (niv)

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it. (niv)

Lord, do not your eyes look for truth? You struck them, but they felt no pain; you crushed them, but they refused correction. They made their faces harder than stone and refused to repent. (niv)

Be assured, however, that if you put me to death, you will bring the guilt of innocent blood on yourselves and on this city and on those who live in it, for in truth the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing.” (niv)

But since you refuse to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand,since you disregard all my advice and do not accept my rebuke,I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you; I will mock when calamity overtakes you—when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you.“ Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me,since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord.Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke,they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious. (niv)

See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? (niv)

If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land;but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. (niv)
