『你去告訴古實人以伯米勒說：「萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：看吧，我必使我所說降禍不降福的話臨到這城，到那日子就會實現在你面前。但是當那日我必援救你，永恆主發神諭說；你必不至於被交在你所怕的人手中。因為我一定要搭救你；你必不至於倒斃於刀下，你卻要掠得你自己的性命，因為你倚靠着我：這是永恆主發神諭說的。」』

他使約雅斤流亡到巴比倫去；也使王母王妃和王的內侍、以及國中的權貴、都從耶路撒冷流亡到巴比倫。

古實人哪能改變他的膚色呢？豹哪能改變牠的斑點呢？若能的話，你這慣於作壞事的，也就能行善了。

腓利就起身去。忽見一個埃提阿伯人、是埃提阿伯女王干大基有權力的太監、掌管女王全部銀庫的。這人上耶路撒冷來敬拜；回去的時候、坐在車上，誦讀着神言人以賽亞的書。聖靈對腓利說：『你上前去，貼近那車走。』腓利就跑上前去，聽見他誦讀着神言人以賽亞的書，便說：『你所讀的、難道你懂麼？』他說：『除非有人領導我，怎能呢？』就請腓利上車，和他同坐。他所誦讀的那段經是這一段：『他好像羊被牽到屠宰之地，像羊羔對剪毛的人不出聲，他也這樣地不開口；受卑抑、他應得的判斷被奪了去；他的世系誰還敘說到呢？因為他的生命竟從地上被奪了去。』太監應時對腓利說：『求你指教，神言人說這話、是指着誰？指着自己呢？還是指着別人哪？』腓利就開口，從這一段經起，將耶穌這福音傳給他。他們沿路走的時候，到了有水的地方；太監說：『看哪，這裏有水！有甚麼能攔阻我受洗禮呢？』

我告訴你們，從東從西、必有許多人要來，跟亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各一同坐席在天國裏；而本國的子民竟被趕到外邊黑暗裏去；在那裏必有哀哭和切齒。』

那些從牛犢的劈開部分中間走過去表示立約的人、就是猶大的首領、耶路撒冷的首領、太監、祭司、和國中的眾民；

從東與西、從北與南、必有人要來，在上帝國裏坐席。你就看吧，必有末後的成了首先的，首先的成了末後的。』

我出門上街去，在廣場上豫備我的座位；青年人看見我就迴避，老年人起立站着；王子都停止說話，用手掌摀口；貴人都屏氣收聲，舌頭貼住上膛。因為耳朵聽見了、就稱我為有福；眼睛看見了、就作證稱讚我；因為我搭救了呼救的困苦人、搭救孤兒和無人幫助者。將要滅亡的人給我祝福；我也使寡婦的心歡唱。我以正義為衣服，正義也做衣服覆被着我；我的公平就如外袍與華冠。我成了瞎子的眼，瘸子的腳。我做了窮人的父；我查明素不認識者的案件。我打破了不義之人的牙床，使他所抓撕的從牙齒間掉下。
