约有四万带兵器的军队在耶和华面前过去，到耶利哥的平原，准备上阵。

犹大王西底家必不能逃脱迦勒底人的手，定要交在巴比伦王手中，他要亲眼看到巴比伦王，亲口跟他说话。巴比伦王要将西底家带到巴比伦；西底家必住在那里，直到我惩罚他的时候。你们虽与迦勒底人争战，却不顺利。这是耶和华说的。’”

“人必将你的后妃和你的儿女带到迦勒底人那里；你也不得脱离他们的手，必被巴比伦王的手捉住，这城也必被火焚烧。”

亚述王从巴比伦、古他、亚瓦、哈马和西法瓦音迁移人来，安置在撒玛利亚的城镇，代替以色列人；他们就占据了撒玛利亚，住在城中。

还有迦巴勒人的地，以及向日出方向的黎巴嫩全地，从黑门山下的巴力‧迦得，直到哈马口；

哈马王陀以听见大卫击败哈大底谢的全军，

迦勒底人就拿住王，带他到利比拉的巴比伦王那里；他们就判他的罪。

耶和华的受膏者是我们鼻中的气，被抓到他们的坑里，论到他，我们曾说：“我们必在他荫下，在列国中存活。”

所以耶和华使亚述王的将领来攻击他们，用手铐铐住玛拿西，用铜链锁住他，把他带到巴比伦去。

他却背叛巴比伦王，差派使者前往埃及，要求埃及人给他马匹和许多人。他岂能亨通呢？这样做的人岂能逃脱呢？他背了约岂能逃脱呢？主耶和华说：我指着我的永生起誓，他定要死在巴比伦，就是巴比伦王所在之处；因为巴比伦王立他为王，他竟轻看向王所起的誓，背弃王与他所立的约。当敌人建土堆，筑堡垒，要歼灭许多人时，法老虽有强大军队和大批人马，在战场上还是不能帮助他。他轻看誓言，背弃盟约，看哪，虽已投降，却又做这一切的事，他必不能逃脱。所以主耶和华如此说：我指着我的永生起誓，他既轻看我的誓言，背弃我的约，我必使这罪归到他头上。我要把我的网撒在他身上，他就被我的罗网缠住。我要带他到巴比伦，在那里因他背叛我的罪惩罚他。所有逃跑的军队必倒在刀下；剩余的也必分散四方。你们就知道说这话的是我—耶和华。”

又有一阵比这更大的风向我刮来；现在，我要向他们宣读我的判决。”
