猶大的領袖、耶路撒冷的領袖、官員、祭司，和從牛犢切塊中經過的這地的眾百姓，我必將他們交在仇敵和尋索其命的人手中；他們的屍首必給空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸作食物。我必將猶大王西底家和他的眾領袖交在仇敵和尋索其命的人手中，與那暫時離你們而去的巴比倫王軍隊的手中。

耶和華如此說：「我必將猶大王西底家和他的眾領袖，以及留在這地耶路撒冷剩餘的人，並住在埃及地的猶大人都交出來，好像那極壞、壞得不能吃的無花果。我必使他們在地上萬國中成為恐懼，成為災禍，在我趕逐他們到的各處成為凌辱、笑柄、譏笑、詛咒的對象。我必使刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫臨到他們，直到他們從我所賜給他們和他們祖先之地滅絕。」

自己走開約有一箭之遠，相對而坐，說：「我不忍心看見孩子死」。她就坐在對面，放聲大哭。

因此，看哪，我必使你歸到你祖先那裏，平安地進入墳墓；我要降於這地方的一切災禍，你不會親眼看見。』」他們就去把這話回覆王。

他們的嬰孩必在他們眼前被摔死，他們的房屋被搶劫，他們的妻子被污辱。

看哪，我必使你歸到你祖先那裏，平安地進入墳墓，我要降於這地方和其上居民的一切災禍，你不會親眼看見。』」他們就去把這話回覆王。
