Oh, my anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain. Oh, the agony of my heart! My heart pounds within me, I cannot keep silent. For I have heard the sound of the trumpet; I have heard the battle cry.

I’m suffering! I’m really suffering! I’m hurting badly. My heart is suffering so much! It’s pounding inside me. I can’t keep silent. I’ve heard the sound of trumpets. I’ve heard the battle cry.

My anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain! Oh the walls of my heart! My heart is beating wildly; I cannot keep silent, for I hear the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.

故我曰、爾勿我顧、我將痛哭、勿為我民女遭滅、強慰藉我、

是以我腸為摩押而鳴、我衷為基珥哈列設而響、有如琴瑟、

我為山嶽哭泣號咷、為曠野之草場悲哀、因其焚燬、無人經之、不聞牲畜之聲、飛禽走獸、俱已逃亡、

願我首為水泉、我目為淚源、則可為我被戮之民女、旦夕哭泣、

我既聞之、我體戰慄、我脣顫動、骸骨若朽、我戰慄於我所、我惟靜默、以俟患難之日至、犯境之民來、

我心為摩押而悲哀、其顯者逃往瑣珥、遁至伊基拉施利施亞、登魯希阪而哭泣、在何羅念路、因敗亡而舉哀、

我腰痛甚、劬勞若臨產之婦、痛苦而耳無聞、驚懼而目無見、

因我民女遭滅、我目流涕如溪兮、我目流涕、無已無間兮、迨耶和華垂顧、自天鑒觀兮、緣我邑中諸女、觸目而傷心兮、

我心當頌美耶和華、我衷所有、頌其聖名兮、

我緣斯而哭泣、滿目流涕兮、慰我心蘇我靈者、遠乎我兮、我之子女伶仃、敵人獲勝兮、

我目出涕若川流、因人不守爾律兮、○

兄弟乎、我心所願而祈於上帝者、俾以色列人得救也、

論眾先知、我心憂傷、我骨震動、因耶和華、及其聖言之故、我若醉人、為酒所困、

是日乃震怒之日、急難困苦之日、毀滅淒涼之日、幽暗晦冥之日、密雲深黑之日、吹角告警之日、將攻堅城高堞、

我謂耶和華曰、爾乃我主、爾外我無福兮、

有敵犯境、爾往攻之、必以角聲警人、則耶和華爾之上帝、必垂念爾、拯爾於敵、

邑中吹角、民豈不懼乎、邑中遭禍、豈非耶和華所為乎、

我有大憂、痛心不已、即為兄弟骨肉之親、見絕於基督、亦所願也、

小子乎、我復為爾劬勞、待基督之狀、成於爾衷、

爾其以是言語之曰、我目流涕、晝夜不息、我民處女、大見摧殘、而受重傷、我若往於田、則見為刃所戮者、我若入於邑、則見因饑而病者、先知祭司、遊於未識之地、○

故我必為摩押號咷、為其全地哀哭、人為基珥哈列設哭泣、西比瑪之葡萄歟、爾枝逾海、延及雅謝之海、殘賊者至、奪爾夏果及葡萄、我必為爾哭泣、較雅謝之哭泣尤甚、

我若云不復道之、不再藉其名而言、則我中心有如爇火、蘊於我骨、疲倦難忍、

宜宣於猶大、傳於耶路撒冷曰、當於境內吹角、大聲呼曰、集眾而入鞏固之邑、

爾其頌美耶和華、我心頌美耶和華兮、

我目流涕、至於失明、中心慘怛、肝膽墜地、以我民女遭滅兮、孩提及哺乳者、昏於邑衢兮、

如爾不聽、我將為爾狂傲、背人而泣、我目流涕痛哭、以耶和華之羣羊被虜也、

我心歟、爾其復安、耶和華厚待爾兮、

因惡人違爾律、我則發怒甚烈兮、

基順古河、漂流敵眾、我之靈歟、奮然前往、

我但以理昏迷、疾病數日、後乃起理王事、我駭詫此異象、無人明其意焉、

其言至此而竟、我但以理中懷煩擾、容色改變、惟存此事於心、

我心何為而抑鬱、中懷何為而煩擾、企望上帝、彼和顏而施救、我仍頌之兮、○我上帝歟、我心抑鬱於中、故由約但地、黑門嶺、米薩山、記憶爾兮、

我心不與同謀、我神不與共會、蓋其乘怒而戕人命、縱欲而斷牛筋、

我但以理心憂於中、所見之異象、令我煩擾、

我瞻旌斾、我聞角聲、何時而止、

既近、見城、則為之哭、曰、倘爾於是日、知關乎平安之事則幸、但今隱於爾目矣、
