良田荒蕪、城邑傾圮、蓋耶和華涖臨、其怒殊烈。

見良田荒蕪、其諸城邑傾圮於主前、皆因主之烈怒、

I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

I looked. And the fruitful land had become a desert. All its towns were destroyed. The Lord had done all this because of his great anger.

I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a desert, and all its cities were laid in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

I looked, and the fertile fields had become a wilderness. The towns lay in ruins, crushed by the Lord’s fierce anger.

使肥地变为碱地；这都因其间居民的罪恶。

所以因你们的缘故，锡安必被耕种像一块田，耶路撒冷必变为乱堆；这殿的山必像丛林的高处。

我耳闻万军之耶和华说：“必有许多又大又美的房屋成为荒凉，无人居住。三十亩葡萄园只出一罢特酒；一贺梅珥谷种只结一伊法粮食。”

“那时，主必用大河外赁的剃头刀，就是亚述王，剃去头发和脚上的毛，并要剃净胡须。“那时，一个人要养活一只母牛犊，两只母绵羊；因为出的奶多，他就得吃奶油，在境内所剩的人都要吃奶油与蜂蜜。“从前，凡种一千棵葡萄树、值银一千舍客勒的地方，到那时必长荆棘和蒺藜。人上那里去，必带弓箭，因为遍地满了荆棘和蒺藜。所有用锄刨挖的山地，你因怕荆棘和蒺藜，不敢上那里去；只可成了放牛之处，为羊践踏之地。”

又看见遍地有硫磺，有盐卤，有火迹，没有耕种，没有出产，连草都不生长，好像耶和华在忿怒中所倾覆的所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁一样。所看见的人，连万国人，都必问说：‘耶和华为何向此地这样行呢？这样大发烈怒是什么意思呢？’人必回答说：‘是因这地的人离弃了耶和华他们列祖的神，领他们出埃及地的时候与他们所立的约，去侍奉敬拜素不认识的别神，是耶和华所未曾给他们安排的。所以耶和华的怒气向这地发作，将这书上所写的一切咒诅都降在这地上。耶和华在怒气、忿怒、大恼恨中将他们从本地拔出来，扔在别的地上，像今日一样。’

“犹大悲哀，城门衰败。众人披上黑衣坐在地上；耶路撒冷的哀声上达。他们的贵胄打发家僮打水；他们来到水池，见没有水，就拿着空器皿，蒙羞惭愧，抱头而回。耕地的也蒙羞抱头；因为无雨降在地上，地都干裂。田野的母鹿生下小鹿，就撇弃，因为无草。野驴站在净光的高处，喘气好像野狗；因为无草，眼目失明。”

惟独你是可畏的！你怒气一发，谁能在你面前站得住呢？

这地悲哀，通国的青草枯干，要到几时呢？因其上居民的恶行，牲畜和飞鸟都灭绝了。他们曾说：“他看不见我们的结局。”
