Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, circumcise your hearts, you people of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, or my wrath will flare up and burn like fire because of the evil you have done— burn with no one to quench it.

People of Judah and you who live in Jerusalem, obey me. Do not let your hearts be stubborn. If you do, my anger will blaze out against you. It will burn like fire because of the evil things you have done. No one will be able to put it out.

Circumcise yourselves to the Lord; remove the foreskin of your hearts, O men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn with none to quench it, because of the evil of your deeds.”

O people of Judah and Jerusalem, surrender your pride and power. Change your hearts before the Lord, or my anger will burn like an unquenchable fire because of all your sins.

If you do not, my anger will blaze up like a flaming fire against you that no one will be able to extinguish. That will happen because of the evil you have done.”

所以你們要給你們的心行割禮，不可再頑固。

就是埃及、猶大、以東、亞捫、摩押和所有剃除鬢髮，住在曠野的人；因為列國的人都沒有受過割禮，甚至以色列全家的內心也沒有受過割禮。”

因為表面上作猶太人的並不是猶太人，在肉身上表面的割禮也不是割禮。唯有在內心作猶太人的才是猶太人；割禮也是心裡的，是靠著聖靈而不是靠著儀文。這樣的人所受的稱讚，不是從人來的，而是從神來的。

耶和華你的神必把你心裡和你後裔心裡的污穢除掉，要你一心一意愛耶和華你的神，使你可以存活。

你們也在他裡面受了不是由人手所行的割禮，而是受了基督的割禮，就是除掉你們的罪身。

大衛家啊！耶和華這樣說：你們每早晨應秉公審判，解救被搶奪的脫離欺壓者的手；免得我的烈怒因你們（“你們”有古抄本作“他們”）的惡行發作，如火焚燒，無人能熄滅。

尋求耶和華，就必存活，免得他像火在約瑟家猛烈蔓延，吞滅他們；沒有人能把伯特利的火撲滅。

趁命令還沒有發出，日子還沒有像風前的糠秕一般吹過，耶和華的烈怒還沒有臨到你們，耶和華忿怒的日子還沒有臨到你們以前，你們要聚集起來！

看哪！耶和華的名從遠方而來，他的怒氣燒起，濃煙上騰；他的嘴唇充滿忿怒，他的舌頭像吞滅的火。他的氣息如漲溢的河水，直漲到頸項，並要用毀滅的篩把列國篩淨，又在眾民口中放入使人步向滅亡的嚼環。

我為了發烈怒，好施行報應，就把她的血倒在光滑的磐石上，以致不得掩蓋。

在遠處的必因瘟疫死亡，在近處的必倒在刀劍之下，那餘下被圍困的也必因饑荒死亡。我必這樣在他們身上完全發盡我的烈怒。

耶和華大發震怒，傾倒他的烈怒；他在錫安放火，吞滅了錫安的根基。

我必在怒氣、烈怒和忿怒中，用伸出來的手和強有力的膀臂，親自攻擊你們。

我要審判你，像審判行姦淫和流人血的婦人一樣；我要因我的烈怒和妒忿，使流人血的罪歸在你身上。

因為在我的怒中有火燃燒起來，燒到陰間的深處，把大地和地的出產盡都吞滅，連山的根基也燒著了。

耶路撒冷啊，醒來！醒來！站起來吧！你從耶和華的手中喝了他烈怒的杯，喝盡了那使人搖搖擺擺的爵。

看哪！耶和華的旋風，在震怒中發出，是旋轉的狂風，必捲到惡人的頭上。

對南地的樹林說：‘你要聽耶和華的話，主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我要在你中間點起火來，吞滅你中間所有青綠和枯乾的樹；猛烈的火燄必不熄滅；從南到北遍地都要燒焦。所有的人都必看見是我耶和華使這火燃起來；這火必不熄滅。’”

我也要拍手，並且要使我的烈怒止息；這是我耶和華說的。”
