The captain of the guards took Jeremiah and said to him,“ The LORD your God decreed this disaster on this place,

护卫长将耶利米叫来，对他说：“耶和华你的神曾说要降这祸与此地。

护卫长提耶利米来，对他说：“耶和华—你的上帝曾说要降这灾祸给此地。

护卫长提耶利米来，对他说：“耶和华—你的神曾说要降这灾祸给此地。

护卫长释放耶利米之前对他说：“你的上帝耶和华曾说要在这里降下灾祸，

护卫长把耶利米提出来，对他说：“耶和华你的神曾说要降这灾祸在这地方；

護衛長將耶利米叫來，對他說：「耶和華－你的神曾說要降這禍與此地。

護衛長提耶利米來，對他說：「耶和華－你的上帝曾說要降這災禍給此地。

護衛長提耶利米來，對他說：「耶和華－你的神曾說要降這災禍給此地。

護衛長釋放耶利米之前對他說：「你的上帝耶和華曾說要在這裡降下災禍，

護衛長把耶利米提出來，對他說：“耶和華你的神曾說要降這災禍在這地方；

護衛長將耶利米提出來，對他說：『永恆主你的上帝曾經說到這災禍要臨到這地方的事；

侍衛長召耶利米、謂之曰、爾上帝耶和華、曾言降災於斯土、

侍衛長告耶利米曰、昔爾曹負罪、干犯耶和華、不遵其命、爾之上帝耶和華言、必降災於斯土、今一如其言、爾曹遇難其驗也。

侍衛長召耶利米告之曰、主爾之天主、曾言降災於斯地、

When the commander of the guard found Jeremiah, he said to him,“ The Lord your God decreed this disaster for this place.

But the commander of the guard found Jeremiah. The commander said to him,“ The Lord your God ordered that this place be destroyed.

The captain of the guard took Jeremiah and said to him,“ The Lord your God pronounced this disaster against this place.

The captain of the guard called for Jeremiah and said,“ The Lord your God has brought this disaster on this land,

Now the captain of the bodyguard had taken Jeremiah and said to him,“ The Lord your God promised this disaster against this place;

And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah and said to him:“ The Lord your God has pronounced this doom on this place.

And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, Jehovah thy God pronounced this evil upon this place;

The captain of the guard took Jeremiah and said to him,“ The Lord your God decreed this disaster on this place,

And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, The LORD thy God hath pronounced this evil upon this place.

The captain of the royal guard took Jeremiah aside and said to him,“ The LORD your God threatened this place with this disaster.

The captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said to him,“ Yahweh your God pronounced this evil on this place;

All the nations will ask,‘ Why has the LORD done this to this land? Why this intense outburst of anger?’Then people will answer,‘ It is because they abandoned the covenant of the LORD, the God of their ancestors, which he had made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.They began to serve other gods, bowing in worship to gods they had not known— gods that the LORD had not permitted them to worship.Therefore the LORD’s anger burned against this land, and he brought every curse written in this book on it.The LORD uprooted them from their land in his anger, rage, and intense wrath, and threw them into another land where they are today.’

“ Many nations will pass by this city and ask one another,‘ Why did the LORD do such a thing to this great city?’They will answer,‘ Because they abandoned the covenant of the LORD their God and bowed in worship to other gods and served them.’”

then I will uproot Israel from the soil that I gave them, and this temple that I have sanctified for my name I will banish from my presence; I will make it an object of scorn and ridicule among all the peoples.As for this temple, which was exalted, everyone who passes by will be appalled and will say,“ Why did the LORD do this to this land and this temple?”Then they will say,“ Because they abandoned the LORD God of their ancestors who brought them out of the land of Egypt. They clung to other gods and bowed in worship to them and served them. Because of this, he brought all this ruin on them.”

Though this temple is now exalted, everyone who passes by will be appalled and will scoff. They will say,“ Why did the LORD do this to this land and this temple?”Then they will say,“ Because they abandoned the LORD their God who brought their ancestors out of the land of Egypt. They held on to other gods and bowed in worship to them and served them. Because of this, the LORD brought all this ruin on them.”

All who pass by scornfully clap their hands at you. They hiss and shake their heads at Daughter Jerusalem: Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth?All your enemies open their mouths against you. They hiss and gnash their teeth, saying,“ We have swallowed her up. This is the day we have waited for! We have lived to see it.”The LORD has done what he planned; he has accomplished his decree, which he ordained in days of old. He has demolished without compassion, letting the enemy gloat over you and exalting the horn of your adversaries.
