暗利用二他连得银子向撒玛买了撒玛利亚山，在山上造城，就按着山的原主撒玛的名，给所造的城起名叫撒玛利亚。

用火焚烧耶和华的殿和王宫，又焚烧耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大户家的房屋。

以色列的全会众都聚集在示罗，把会幕设立在那里，那地已经被他们制伏了。

“你们是耶和华你们神的儿女。不可为死人用刀划身，也不可将额上剃光；

罗波安往示剑去；因为以色列人都到了示剑要立他作王。

雅各从巴旦亚兰回来的时候，平平安安地到了迦南地的示剑城，在城东支搭帐棚，

耶路巴力的儿子亚比米勒到了示剑见他的众母舅，对他们和他外祖全家的人说：

耶罗波安在以法莲山地建筑示剑，就住在其中；又从示剑出去，建筑毗努伊勒。

他们上巴益，又往底本，到高处去哭泣。摩押人因尼波和米底巴哀号，各人头上光秃，胡须剃净。

每年上到耶和华殿的时候，以利加拿都以双份给哈拿；毗尼拿仍是激动她，以致她哭泣不吃饭。

犹大王亚撒三十八年，暗利的儿子亚哈登基作了以色列王。暗利的儿子亚哈在撒玛利亚作以色列王二十二年。

遇见犹大王亚哈谢的弟兄，问他们说：“你们是谁？”回答说：“我们是亚哈谢的弟兄，现在下去要问王和太后的众子安。”耶户吩咐说：“活捉他们！”跟从的人就活捉了他们，将他们杀在剪羊毛之处的坑边，共四十二人，没有留下一个。

头的周围不可剃，胡须的周围也不可损坏。不可为死人用刀划身，也不可在身上刺花纹。我是耶和华。

那地的主希未人、哈抹的儿子示剑看见她，就拉住她，与她行淫，玷辱她。

你的仆人原来喜悦她的石头，可怜她的尘土。

哈嫩便将大卫臣仆的胡须剃去一半，又割断他们下半截的衣服，使他们露出下体，打发他们回去。

所以我要向这称为我名下、你们所倚靠的殿，与我所赐给你们和你们列祖的地施行，照我从前向示罗所行的一样。

以色列人从埃及所带来约瑟的骸骨，葬埋在示剑，就是在雅各从前用一百块银子向示剑的父亲、哈抹的子孙所买的那块地里；这就作了约瑟子孙的产业。

你们且往示罗去，就是我先前立为我名的居所，察看我因这百姓以色列的罪恶向那地所行的如何。”
