He will come and attack Egypt, bringing death to those destined for death, captivity to those destined for captivity, and the sword to those destined for the sword.

He will come and attack Egypt. He will bring death to those I have appointed to die. He will take away as prisoners those I have appointed to be taken away. And he will kill with swords those I have appointed to be killed.

He shall come and strike the land of Egypt, giving over to the pestilence those who are doomed to the pestilence, to captivity those who are doomed to captivity, and to the sword those who are doomed to the sword.

And when he comes, he will destroy the land of Egypt. He will bring death to those destined for death, captivity to those destined for captivity, and war to those destined for war.

He will come and attack Egypt. Those who are destined to die of disease will die of disease. Those who are destined to be carried off into exile will be carried off into exile. Those who are destined to die in war will die in war.

He will come, and will strike the land of Egypt; such as are for death will be put to death, and such as are for captivity to captivity, and such as are for the sword to the sword.

如彼詰爾當往何處、爾必傳我命、告之曰、當死則死、當殺則殺、當饑則饑、當虜則虜。

昔我罰耶路撒冷居民、戮之以鋒刃、因之以饑饉、重之以疫癘、我加刑乎居埃及者、亦若是。

故主耶和華曰、我必以埃及眾庶之貨財、賜於巴比倫王、尼布甲尼撒、以犒其軍。主耶和華曰、彼為我供役服勞、我必以埃及地賜之、以為賞勞、

亦至埃及王法老、以及群臣眾庶、與非同族者、

我曰、必不牧爾、死者我聽其死、絕者我任其絕、其餘自相殘食、亦聽其然、

以賽亞以埃及之事、得之默示者、述於左、耶和華乘雲迅速、涖臨埃及、埃及之偶像震動、埃及之人民恐懼。萬有之主耶和華曰、我必使埃及人、兄弟友朋、城邑邦國、互相攻擊、埃及人必喪厥膽、其謀為我所敗、彼雖求偶像、為神所憑者、以及巫覡之輩、亦必委之於殘忍之主、暴虐之君。

耶和華以列邦之事、諭耶利米、其言如左。猶大王約西亞子約雅金四年、埃及王法老尼哥帥師在百辣河濱、迦基密邑、為巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒所敗、先知耶利米以埃及軍國之事奉耶和華命而錄其詞曰、干戈森列、臨陣戰鬥、駕馬列騎、戴冑而立、礪戈矛、著戎衣。耶和華曰、我觀其喪膽敗北、四周畏懼、武士戰北、逃遁維速、不顧其後。疾趨者不及逃遁、強猛者不能免難、在彼北方、百辣河濱、顛躓傾覆、彼之至也、勢若大河、波流洶湧、果為誰與、埃及人至此、譬諸巨川、彼曰、我將汎濫於斯土、毀其邑、殲其民、維爾武士、駕車乘馬、馳驟而至、古實人、弗人、俱執干戈、路得人、善挽強弓。先知曰、今日萬有之主耶和華降災於敵、雪其夙忿、使之被戮於鋒刃、飲血若醉、蓋萬有之主耶和華在於北方、百辣河濱、大行誅殛。埃及人往基列、求乳香藥品、雖多無益、必不得醫、爾受凌辱、號呼之聲聞於列國、蓋傑士顛躓、淪胥以亡。巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒將至、攻擊埃及、耶和華以是事告先知耶利米、曰、當告埃及人、播揚斯言於蜜奪、挪弗、答比匿、云、當預為備、屹立不動、四周之民、亡於鋒刃。爾之有能者、為我耶和華所驅、不能禦敵、俱遭淹沒。群眾傾覆、自相蹂躪、曰、莫若旋師返國、不遭強者殺戮、告埃及王法老云、戰鬥之事不敢與會。萬有之主、耶和華曰、我指己而誓、敵至斯土、若山中有大泊、若海濱有加密、屹然峙立。挪弗荒蕪、無人居處、旅於埃及者必預為備、恐見虜。埃及人若美犢、有災至自北方、彼以金募壯士、俱若肥牛、災害既臨、敗北而遁、不能禦敵。埃及人聲細若蛇、敵人帥師來攻、若樵夫執斧伐木。耶和華曰、彼雖眾多若蝗、不可勝數、亦當伐之、無異伐木。埃及人惶遽、為北方之人所虜、萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、我必罰埃及之挪亞門、毀其上帝之像、誅王公法老、與凡恃法老之勢者、付之於敵、巴比倫王、尼布甲尼撒、及其僕之手、厥後埃及之地有人居處、無與昔異、我耶和華已言之矣、

耶和華又諭我曰、人子、當言未來事曰、主耶和華云、禍日將屆、爾當號泣不已、其日伊邇、晦冥慘淡、耶和華降災於異邦、其日伊適、鋒刃臨於埃及、患難至於古實、址基既毀、億兆被戮、遺民見擄、古實、呂彼亞、呂氐亞與異邦族類、及古巴之民、同盟之輩、俱亡以刃、耶和華曰、必折埃及驕泰之心、自蜜奪至敘以尼、俱亡以刃、助埃及者亦必敗北、我耶和華已言之矣。列邦諸邑、俱至荒蕪、埃及與助之者亦然。我燃火於埃及、凡助之者、既被殲滅、則知我乃耶和華。古實人安居無恐、斯時我必遣使駕舟、至其地、令彼震驚哀痛、與埃及降災之日無異、其日伊邇。主耶和華曰、我必藉巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、使埃及眾庶俱亡、巴比倫王之軍旅、列邦所畏懼、我必率之、以殲斯土、拔利刃攻埃及、隨在殺人、我必涸埃及之川流、以其國付惡人之手、使異邦人、荒蕪其地、使其物產歸於烏有、我耶和華已言之矣。主耶和華又曰、我必斫其偶像、使不存於挪弗、埃及無君、庶民恐懼、我必使八羅荒蕪、火焚鎖安、降災於挪、滅其居民、汛為埃及國鞏固之邑、我必忿怒攻擊、

全能之上帝、施報於惡人者若此。

爾民三分之一、必亡於瘟疫饑饉、三分之一、必亡於鋒刃、三分之一、必散於四方、我亦襲之以白刃、
