Those who escape the sword and return to the land of Judah from Egypt will be very few. Then the whole remnant of Judah who came to live in Egypt will know whose word will stand— mine or theirs.

Some will not be killed. They will return to Judah from Egypt. But they will be very few. Then all the people of Judah who came to live in Egypt will know the truth. They will know whether what I say or what they say will come true.

And those who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah, few in number; and all the remnant of Judah, who came to the land of Egypt to live, shall know whose word will stand, mine or theirs.

Only a small number will escape death and return to Judah from Egypt. Then all those who came to Egypt will find out whose words are true— mine or theirs!

Those who escape the sword will return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah only few in number, and the whole remnant of Judah, the ones going to the land of Egypt to stay there for a while, will know whose word stands, mine or theirs!

那進入埃及地、在那裏寄居的，就是倖存的猶大人，都不得逃脫，也不得歸回猶大地。他們心中很想歸回，居住在那裏；但除了少數逃脫的以外，都不得歸回。」

他林中只剩下稀少的樹木，連孩童也能寫其數目。

萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你們和你們的妻子口中說過、手裏做到，說：『我們定要向天后還願，向它燒香，獻澆酒祭。』現在你們儘管堅定所許的願，去還願吧！所有住埃及地的猶大人哪，當聽耶和華的話。耶和華說：看哪，我指着我至大的名起誓，在埃及全地，我的名必不再被猶大任何人的口呼喊：『我指着主－永生的耶和華起誓。』

然而我的言語和律例，就是我所吩咐我僕人眾先知的，豈不臨到你們的祖先嗎？他們就回轉，說：萬軍之耶和華定意按我們的所作所為對待我們，他也已經照樣行了。」

我從起初就指明末後的事，從古時便言明未成的事，說：「我的籌算必立定；凡我所喜悅的，我必成就。」我召鷙鳥從東方來，召那成就我籌算的人從遠方來。我已說出，就必成就；我已謀定，也必做成。

耶和華的籌算永遠立定，他心中的計劃萬代長存。

到那日，以色列人哪，耶和華必像人打樹拾果一般，從大河的支流，直到埃及的溪谷，將你們一一收集。當那日，號角大響；在亞述地將亡的，與被趕散至埃及地的，都要前來，在耶路撒冷聖山上敬拜耶和華。

萬軍之耶和華起誓說：「我怎樣思想，必照樣成就；我怎樣定意，必照樣堅立，要在我的地上擊破亞述，在我的山上將它踐踏。它的軛必離開受壓制的人，它的重擔必離開他們的肩頭。」這是向全地所定的旨意，向萬國所伸出的手。萬軍之耶和華既然定意，誰能阻撓呢？他的手已經伸出，誰能使它縮回呢？

天地要廢去，我的話卻絕不廢去。」

「論到你奉耶和華的名向我們所說的話，我們必不聽從。我們定要照我們口中所說的一切話去做，向天后燒香，獻澆酒祭，按着我們與我們祖先、君王、官長在猶大城鎮和耶路撒冷街市上素常所做的一樣；因為那時我們得以吃飽、享福樂，並未遇見災禍。

以色列啊，你的百姓雖多如海沙，惟有剩下的歸回。滅絕之事已成定局，公義必如水漲溢。

若非主發命令，誰能說了就成呢？是禍，是福，不都出於至高者的口嗎？

摩西說：「你們為何要這樣違背耶和華的指示呢？這事必不能順利。

你要告訴他們，耶和華說：『我指着我的永生起誓，我必照你們在我耳中所說的待你們。你們的屍體必倒在這曠野中。你們中間被數點，凡二十歲以上向我發怨言的，

所以，主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我在錫安放一塊石頭作為根基，是衡量的石頭，是寶貴的房角石，穩固的根基；信靠他的人必不致驚恐。我以公平為準繩，以公義為鉛垂線；冰雹必沖去謊言的避難所，大水必漫過藏身之處。你們與死亡所立的約必廢除，與陰間所結的盟不得堅立；不可擋的鞭子揮過時，你們必被踐踏。

我在這地方懲罰你們，必有預兆，使你們知道我降禍給你們的話必站得住。這是耶和華說的。
