從何羅念有喊荒涼大毀滅的哀聲：

「從何羅念傳來呼喊聲，『荒涼了！毀滅了！』

從何羅念傳出哀號的聲音，說：‘荒涼了，大大毀滅了！’

『從何羅念有哀叫的聲音，毁滅和大破毁！

自何羅念有聲曰、荒蕪矣、毀壞大哉、

自何囉念已聞殘賊攻擊之聲、

何羅念傾毀、大遭災害、哀號之聲遠聞、

Cries of anguish arise from Horonaim, cries of great havoc and destruction.

Cries of anguish will arise in Horonaim,‘ Oh, the ruin and great destruction!’

My heart cries out for Moab; His fugitives are as far as Zoar and Eglath shelishiyah, For they go up the ascent of Luhith weeping; Indeed, on the road to Horonaim they raise a cry of distress over their collapse.

From the outcry at Heshbon to Elealeh, to Jahaz they have raised their voice, from Zoar to Horonaim, and to Eglath shelishiyah; for even the waters of Nimrim will become desolate.

For they will go up by the ascent of Luhith With continual weeping; For at the descent of Horonaim They have heard the anguished cry of destruction.

This is what the Lord says:“ Behold, waters are going to rise from the north And become an overflowing torrent, And overflow the land and everything that is in it, The city and those who live in it; And the people will cry out, And every inhabitant of the land will wail.

Therefore Moab will wail; everyone of Moab will wail. You will moan for the raisin cakes of Kir hareseth As those who are utterly stricken.For the fields of Heshbon have withered, the vines of Sibmah as well; The lords of the nations have trampled down its choice clusters Which reached as far as Jazer and wandered to the deserts; Its tendrils spread themselves out and passed over the sea.Therefore I will weep bitterly for Jazer, for the vine of Sibmah; I will drench you with my tears, Heshbon and Elealeh; For the shouting over your summer fruits and your harvest has fallen away.Gladness and joy are taken away from the fruitful field; In the vineyards also there will be no cries of joy or jubilant shouting, No treader treads out wine in the presses, For I have made the shouting to cease.Therefore my inner being sounds like a harp for Moab. And my heart for Kir hareseth.

The people have gone up to the temple and to Dibon, to the high places to weep. Moab wails over Nebo and Medeba; Everyone’s head is bald and every beard is cut off.

Therefore I say,“ Look away from me, Let me weep bitterly, Do not try to comfort me concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people.”

For the cry of distress has gone around the territory of Moab, Its wailing goes as far as Eglaim and its howling to Beer elim.

Disaster upon disaster is proclaimed, For the whole land is devastated; Suddenly my tents are devastated, And my curtains in an instant.How long must I see the flag And hear the sound of the trumpet?
