他們坐下吃飯，舉目觀看，看哪，有一羣以實瑪利人從基列來，用駱駝馱着香料、乳香、沒藥，要帶下埃及去。

少女埃及啊，要上基列去取乳香；你雖服用許多藥，還是徒然，不得治好。

耶和華如此說：「你的損傷無法醫治，你的傷痕極其重大。無人為你的傷痛辯護，也沒有可醫治你的良藥。你所親愛的都忘記你，不來探望你。我因你罪孽甚大，罪惡眾多，曾藉仇敵加的傷害傷害你，藉殘忍者懲治你。你為何因所受的損傷哀號呢？你的痛苦無法醫治。我因你罪孽甚大，罪惡眾多，曾將這些加在你身上。因此，凡吞吃你的必被吞吃，你的敵人個個都被擄去；擄掠你的必成為擄物，我使搶奪你的成為掠物。我必使你痊癒，醫好你的傷痕，都因人稱你為被趕散的，這是錫安，是無人來探望的！這是耶和華說的。」

巴比倫忽然傾覆毀壞；要為它哀號，拿乳香來止它的疼痛，或者可以治好。

有一個女人，患了經血不止的病有十二年，在醫生手裏花盡了一生所有的，但沒有人能治好她。

父親以色列對他們說：「如果必須如此，你們要這樣做：把本地土產中最好的乳香、蜂蜜、香料、沒藥、堅果、杏仁各取一點，放在器皿裏，帶下去送給那人作禮物。

耶穌回答他們：「健康的人用不着醫生；有病的人才用得着。我不是來召義人悔改，而是召罪人悔改。」

法利賽人看見，就對耶穌的門徒說：「你們的老師為甚麼與稅吏和罪人一同吃飯呢？」耶穌聽見，就說：「健康的人用不着醫生；有病的人才用得着。

你們為甚麼屢次悖逆，繼續受責打呢？你們已經滿頭疼痛，全心發昏；從腳掌到頭頂，沒有一處是完好的，盡是創傷、瘀青，與流血的傷口，未曾擠淨，未曾包紮，也沒有用膏滋潤。
