Friend deceives friend, and no one speaks the truth. They have taught their tongues to lie; they weary themselves with sinning.

就是悖逆，否认耶和华，转去不跟从我们的神，口说欺压和叛逆的话，心怀谎言，随即说出；公平转而退后，公义站在远处，诚实仆倒在广场上，正直不得进入；诚实少见，离弃邪恶的人反成掠物。那时，耶和华见没有公平，就不喜悦。

因路途遥远，你就疲倦，却不说，这是枉然，以为能找到复兴之力，所以不觉疲惫。

这是出于撒谎者的假冒；这些人的良心如同被热铁烙了一般。

他们磨舌如刀，发出苦毒的言语，好像瞄准了的箭，

铁匠用工具在火炭上工作，用锤打出形状，用他有力的膀臂来锤。他因饥饿而无力气；因未喝水而疲倦。木匠拉线，用笔划出样子，用刨子刨成形状，又用圆规划了模样。他仿照人的体态，做出美妙的人形，放在庙里。他砍伐香柏树，又取杉树和橡树，在树林中让它茁壮；或栽种松树，得雨水滋润长大。

然而这一切劳碌无效，它厚厚的锈，即使用火也除不掉。

他们弯起舌头像弓，为要说谎话；他们在国中增长势力，不是为诚信。他们恶上加恶，并不认识我。这是耶和华说的。

各人互相帮助，对弟兄说：“壮胆吧！”木匠鼓励银匠，用锤子打光的鼓励打砧的，对焊工说：“焊得好！”又用钉子钉稳，免得它倒下。

“你的口出恶言，你的舌编造诡诈。

他们若不行恶，难以成眠，不使人跌倒，就睡卧不安；

他们的舌头锐利如蛇，嘴唇里有毒蛇的毒液。（细拉）

你夸大的话岂能使人不作声吗？你戏笑的时候岂没有人使你受辱吗？

所以，你们要弃绝谎言，每个人要与邻舍说诚实话，因为我们是互为肢体。

看哪，恶人怀邪恶，养毒害，生虚假。

看哪，这不都是出于万军之耶和华吗？万民劳碌得来的被火焚烧，万族辛苦建造的，归于虚空。

祸哉！那些以虚假的绳子牵引罪孽，以套车的绳索紧拉罪恶的人。

他们的舌头是毒箭，说话诡诈，跟邻舍口说平安，心却谋害他。
