Righteous Father, the world has not known you. However, I have known you, and they have known that you sent me.

See what great love the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children— and we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it didn’t know him.

By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.

All things have been entrusted to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son desires to reveal him.

For since, in God’s wisdom, the world did not know God through wisdom, God was pleased to save those who believe through the foolishness of what is preached.

The God who made the world and everything in it— he is Lord of heaven and earth— does not live in shrines made by hands.Neither is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives everyone life and breath and all things.From one man he has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live.He did this so that they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.

None of the rulers of this age knew this wisdom, because if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

So she named the LORD who spoke to her:“ You are El-roi,” for she said,“ In this place, have I actually seen the one who sees me?”

You are to say this to them:“ The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”He made the earth by his power, established the world by his wisdom, and spread out the heavens by his understanding.
