He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.

He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughter and like a sheep silent before her shearers, He did not open His mouth.

but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.

He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of His nature, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Now the Scripture passage he was reading was this: He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb is silent before its shearer, so He does not open His mouth.

When he saw Jesus passing by, he said,“ Look! The Lamb of God!”

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, because it is written: Everyone who is hung on a tree is cursed.

Then I saw the Lamb open one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder,“ Come!”

He will see it out of His anguish, and He will be satisfied with His knowledge. My righteous Servant will justify many, and He will carry their iniquities.

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness; you have been healed by His wounds.

They sang the song of God’s servant Moses and the song of the Lamb: Great and awe-inspiring are Your works, Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are Your ways, King of the Nations.

They conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not love their lives in the face of death.

Then I looked, and there on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with Him were 144,000 who had His name and His Father’s name written on their foreheads.

For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will shepherd them; He will guide them to springs of living waters, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” Then he told me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Then he said to me,“ Write: Those invited to the marriage feast of the Lamb are fortunate!” He also said to me,“ These words of God are true.”

These are the ones not defiled with women, for they have kept their virginity. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They were redeemed from the human race as the firstfruits for God and the Lamb.

All those who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered.

These will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings. Those with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring you to God, after being put to death in the fleshly realm but made alive in the spiritual realm.

Let us be glad, rejoice, and give Him glory, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has prepared herself.

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has set us free from our sins by His blood,

When He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

he will also drink the wine of God’s wrath, which is mixed full strength in the cup of His anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb,

Then one of the seven angels, who had held the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues, came and spoke with me:“ Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”

He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a people for His own possession, eager to do good works.

Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month they must each select an animal of the flock according to their fathers’ households, one animal per household.If the household is too small for a whole animal, that person and the neighbor nearest his house are to select one based on the combined number of people; you should apportion the animal according to what each person will eat.You must have an unblemished animal, a year-old male; you may take it from either the sheep or the goats.You are to keep it until the fourteenth day of this month; then the whole assembly of the community of Israel will slaughter the animals at twilight.They must take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel of the houses where they eat them.They are to eat the meat that night; they should eat it, roasted over the fire along with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.Do not eat any of it raw or cooked in boiling water, but only roasted over fire— its head as well as its legs and inner organs.Do not let any of it remain until morning; you must burn up any part of it that does remain before morning.Here is how you must eat it: you must be dressed for travel, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in a hurry; it is the Lord’s Passover.“ I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night and strike every firstborn male in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. I am Yahweh; I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt.The blood on the houses where you are staying will be a distinguishing mark for you; when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No plague will be among you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Then Isaac spoke to his father Abraham and said,“ My father.” And he replied,“ Here I am, my son.” Isaac said,“ The fire and the wood are here, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”Abraham answered,“ God Himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” Then the two of them walked on together.

She will give birth to a son, and you are to name Him Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”

who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father.

Aaron will lay both his hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the Israelites’ wrongdoings and rebellious acts— all their sins. He is to put them on the goat’s head and send it away into the wilderness by the man appointed for the task.The goat will carry on it all their wrongdoings into a desolate land, and he will release it there.

They said with a loud voice: The Lamb who was slaughtered is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say: Blessing and honor and glory and dominion to the One seated on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!

Nothing profane will ever enter it: no one who does what is vile or false, but only those written in the Lamb’s book of life.Then he showed me the river of living water, sparkling like crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lambdown the middle of the broad street of the city. The tree of life was on both sides of the river, bearing 12 kinds of fruit, producing its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree are for healing the nations,and there will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and His slaves will serve Him.

who gave Himself— a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.

Then I saw One like a slaughtered lamb standing between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent into all the earth.

After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were robed in white with palm branches in their hands.And they cried out in a loud voice: Salvation belongs to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life— a ransom for many.”

For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

and everyone who believes in Him is justified from everything that you could not be justified through the law of Moses.

The city wall had 12 foundations, and the 12 names of the Lamb’s 12 apostles were on the foundations.

Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

“ For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

And they said to the mountains and to the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,

It will be on Aaron’s forehead so that Aaron may bear the guilt connected with the holy offerings that the Israelites consecrate as all their holy gifts. It is always to be on his forehead, so that they may find acceptance with the Lord.

“ Why didn’t you eat the sin offering in the sanctuary area? For it is especially holy, and He has assigned it to you to take away the guilt of the community and make atonement for them before the Lord.

so also the Messiah, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.

I did not see a sanctuary in it, because the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its sanctuary.The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because God’s glory illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Take words of repentance with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him:“ Forgive all our sin and accept what is good, so that we may repay You with praise from our lips.

Therefore, He had to be like His brothers in every way, so that He could become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

The Levites will do the work of the tent of meeting, and they will bear the consequences of their sin. The Levites will not receive an inheritance among the Israelites; this is a permanent statute throughout your generations.

And say to them: This is the fire offering you are to present to the Lord:“ Each day present two unblemished year-old male lambs as a regular burnt offering.Offer one lamb in the morning and the other lamb at twilight,along with two quarts of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with a quart of olive oil from crushed olives.It is a regular burnt offering established at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the Lord.The drink offering is to be a quart with each lamb. Pour out the offering of beer to the Lord in the sanctuary area.Offer the second lamb at twilight, along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering as in the morning. It is a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.“ On the Sabbath day present two unblemished year-old male lambs, four quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering, and its drink offering.It is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.

The Lord said to Aaron,“ You, your sons, and your ancestral house will be responsible for sin against the sanctuary. You and your sons will be responsible for sin involving your priesthood.
