Then Jesus turned around and saw them following. He asked,“ What do you want?” They said,“ Rabbi, where are you staying?” Rabbi means Teacher.

Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked,“ What do you want?” They said,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are you staying?”

Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them,“ What are you seeking?” And they said to him,“ Rabbi”( which means Teacher),“ where are you staying?”

Jesus looked around and saw them following.“ What do you want?” he asked them. They replied,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are you staying?”

When Jesus turned and noticed them following him, he asked them,“ What are you looking for?” They said to him,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are you staying?”

And Jesus turned and saw them following, and* said to them,“ What are you seeking?” They said to Him,“ Rabbi( which translated means Teacher), where are You staying?”

Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them,“ What do you seek?” They said to Him,“ Rabbi”( which is to say, when translated, Teacher),“ where are You staying?”

And Jesus turned, and beheld them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? And they said unto him, Rabbi( which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher), where abidest thou?

When Jesus turned and noticed them following Him, He asked them,“ What are you looking for?” They said to Him,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are You staying?”

Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi,( which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

Jesus turned around and saw them following and said to them,“ What do you want?” So they said to him,“ Rabbi”( which is translated Teacher),“ where are you staying?”

Jesus turned and saw them following, and said to them,“ What are you looking for?” They said to him,“ Rabbi”( which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher),“ where are you staying?”

Nathanael replied,“ Rabbi, you are the Son of God. You are the king of Israel.”

He asked them again,“ Who do you want?”“ Jesus of Nazareth,” they said.

Jesus knew everything that was going to happen to him. So he went out and asked them,“ Who do you want?”

They found him on the other side of the lake. They asked him,“ Rabbi, when did you get here?”

He came to Jesus at night and said,“ Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. We know that God is with you. If he weren’t, you couldn’t do the signs you are doing.”

But Ruth replied,“ Don’t try to make me leave you and go back. Where you go I’ll go. Where you stay I’ll stay. Your people will be my people. Your God will be my God.

They came to ask Philip for a favor. Philip was from Bethsaida in Galilee.“ Sir,” they said,“ we would like to see Jesus.”

They came to John and here is what they said to him.“ Rabbi, that man who was with you on the other side of the Jordan River is baptizing people. He is the one you told us about. Everyone is going to him.”

Jesus reached the spot where Zacchaeus was. He looked up and said,“ Zacchaeus, come down at once. I must stay at your house today.”

They love to be greeted with respect in the markets. They love it when people call them‘ Rabbi.’“ But you shouldn’t be called‘ Rabbi.’ You have only one Teacher, and you are all brothers.

She had a sister named Mary. Mary sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.

He asked her,“ Woman, why are you crying? Who are you looking for?” She thought he was the gardener. So she said,“ Sir, did you carry him away? Tell me where you put him. Then I will go and get him.”Jesus said to her,“ Mary.” She turned toward him. Then she cried out in the Aramaic language,“ Rabboni!” Rabboni means Teacher.

I’m asking the Lord for only one thing. Here is what I want. I want to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. I want to look at the beauty of the Lord. I want to worship him in his temple.

Blessed are those who listen to me. They watch every day at my doors. They wait beside my doorway.

Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When the man came near, Jesus spoke to him.“ What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked.“ Lord, I want to be able to see,” the blind man replied.

So John’s messengers left. Then Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John. He said,“ What did you go out into the desert to see? Tall grass waving in the wind?If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No. Those who wear fine clothes and have many expensive things are in palaces.Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.He is the one written about in Scripture. It says,“‘ I will send my messenger ahead of you. He will prepare your way for you.’( Malachi 3:1)

She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her. Those who hold her close will be blessed.

Large crowds were traveling with Jesus. He turned and spoke to them. He said,

Peter went down and spoke to the men.“ I’m the one you’re looking for,” he said.“ Why have you come?”

The Lord turned and looked right at Peter. Then Peter remembered what the Lord had spoken to him.“ The rooster will crow today,” Jesus had said.“ Before it does, you will say three times that you don’t know me.”

“ King Solomon, I love you. So tell me where you take care of your flock. Tell me where you rest your sheep at noon. Why should I have to act like a prostitute near the flocks of your friends?”“ You are the most beautiful woman of all. Don’t you know where to find the king? Follow the tracks the sheep make. Take care of your young goats near the tents of the shepherds.”

Walk with wise people and become wise. A companion of foolish people suffers harm.

The man who was now free of the demons begged to go with him. But Jesus sent him away. He said to him,

So when you sent for me, I came without asking any questions. May I ask why you sent for me?”

So he got up and went to his father.“ While the son was still a long way off, his father saw him. He was filled with tender love for his son. He ran to him. He threw his arms around him and kissed him.

How happy your people must be! How happy your officials must be! They always get to serve you and hear the wise things you say.
