And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas”( which, when translated, is Peter).

And he brought Simon to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon, son of John. You will be called Cephas.” Cephas means Peter, or Rock.

He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon the son of John. You shall be called Cephas”( which means Peter).

Then Andrew brought Simon to meet Jesus. Looking intently at Simon, Jesus said,“ Your name is Simon, son of John— but you will be called Cephas”( which means“ Peter”).

He brought him unto Jesus. Jesus looked upon him, and said, Thou art Simon the son of John: thou shalt be called Cephas( which is by interpretation, Peter).

and he brought Simon to Jesus. When Jesus saw him, He said,“ You are Simon, son of John. You will be called Cephas”( which means“ Rock”).

And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

Andrew brought Simon to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon, the son of John. You will be called Cephas”( which is translated Peter).

He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him, and said,“ You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas”( which is by interpretation, Peter).

他们吃完了早饭，耶稣对西门‧彼得说：“约翰的儿子西门，你爱我比这些更深吗？”彼得对他说：“主啊，是的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣说：“你喂养我的小羊。”耶稣第二次又对他说：“约翰的儿子西门，你爱我吗？”彼得对他说：“主啊，是的，你知道我爱你。”耶稣说：“你牧养我的羊。”耶稣第三次对他说：“约翰的儿子西门，你爱我吗？”彼得因为耶稣第三次对他说“你爱我吗”，就忧愁，对耶稣说：“主啊，你无所不知，你知道我爱你。”耶稣说：“你喂养我的羊。

或保罗，或亚波罗，或矶法，或世界，或生，或死，或现今的事，或将来的事，全是你们的，

我的意思是，你们各人说：“我是属保罗的”；“我是属亚波罗的”；“我是属矶法的”；“我是属基督的。”

那些被认为是教会柱石的雅各、矶法、约翰知道上帝所赐给我的恩典，就跟我和巴拿巴握右手以示合作，同意我们往外邦人那里去，他们往受割礼的人那里去。

耶稣回答他们：“我不是拣选了你们十二个吗？但你们中间有一个是魔鬼。”耶稣这话是指着要出卖他的加略人西门的儿子犹大说的；他本是十二使徒里的一个。

耶稣回答他说：“约拿的儿子西门，你是有福的！因为这不是属血肉的启示你的，而是我在天上的父启示的。我还告诉你，你是彼得，我要把我的教会建造在这磐石上，阴间的权柄不能胜过它。

西门‧彼得看见，就俯伏在耶稣膝前，说：“主啊，离开我，我是个罪人。”

耶稣自己却不信任他们，因为他认识所有的人，也用不着谁来证明人是怎样的，因为他自己认识人的内心。

这十二使徒的名字如下：头一个叫西门（又称彼得），还有他弟弟安得烈，西庇太的儿子雅各和雅各的弟弟约翰，

难道我们没有权利带着信主的妻子一起出入，如同其余的使徒，和主的兄弟们，和矶法一样吗？

还显给矶法看，又显给十二使徒看，

他设立的十二个人有西门—耶稣又给他起名叫彼得，

西门‧彼得、叫低土马的多马、加利利的迦拿人拿但业、西庇太的两个儿子，和另外两个门徒，都在一起。

耶稣看见拿但业向他走来，就论到他说：“看哪，这真是个以色列人！他心里是没有诡诈的。”拿但业对耶稣说：“你从哪里认识我的？”耶稣回答他说：“腓力还没有呼唤你，你在无花果树底下，我就看见你了。”

我不是指着你们众人说的，我知道我所拣选的是谁；但是要应验经上的话：‘吃我饭的人用脚踢我。’

这十二个人有西门（耶稣又给他起名叫彼得），还有他弟弟安得烈，又有雅各和约翰，腓力和巴多罗买，
