一群犹太人围着祂说：“你让我们困惑、猜疑要到什么时候呢？如果你是基督，就清楚地告诉我们吧！”

犹太人围着他，说：“你叫我们犹疑不定到几时呢？你若是基督，就明明地告诉我们。”

犹太人围着他，对他说：“你让我们犹豫不定到几时呢？你若是基督，就明白地告诉我们。”

一群猶太人圍著祂說：「你讓我們困惑、猜疑要到什麼時候呢？如果你是救主基督，就清楚地告訴我們吧！」

猶太人圍著他，對他說：“你使我們心裡懸疑不定，要到幾時呢？如果你是基督，就公開地告訴我們吧！”

於是猶太人圍着他，對他說：『你使我們的心懸疑不定、要到幾時呢？你如果是基督，請坦然公開地告訴我們吧。』

猶太人圍住了他，說：「你還讓我們猜疑多久呢？如果你是基督，就明確地告訴我們吧！」

猶太人環而語之曰、爾令我猶豫幾何時乎、爾若基督、明以告我、

眾圍繞之、問曰：『汝使我心懸揣、將至何時？果為基督、請明以相告。』

The Jews who were there gathered around him, saying,“ How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”

The Jews who were gathered there around Jesus spoke to him. They said,“ How long will you keep us waiting? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”

So the Jews gathered around him and said to him,“ How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

The people surrounded him and asked,“ How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”

The Jews surrounded him and asked,“ How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”

The Jews then surrounded Him and began saying to Him,“ How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him,“ How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

The Jews therefore came round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou hold us in suspense? If thou art the Christ, tell us plainly.

Then the Jews surrounded Him and asked,“ How long are You going to keep us in suspense? If You are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”

Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

The Jewish leaders surrounded him and asked,“ How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

The Jews therefore came around him and said to him,“ How long will you hold us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

“你就是那位我们所等候的救主吗？还是我们要等别人呢？”

以下是约翰的见证。犹太人从耶路撒冷派祭司和利未人来找约翰，查问他是谁。

对祂说：“如果你是基督，就告诉我们。”耶稣说：“即使我告诉你们，你们也不会相信。如果我问你们，你们也不会回答。但从今以后，人子要坐在全能上帝的右边。”他们都问：“那么，你是上帝的儿子吗？”耶稣回答说：“你们说我是。”

他们问：“你到底是谁？”耶稣回答说：“我不是早就告诉你们了吗？

当时的百姓正期待着基督的来临，大家心里都在猜想，也许约翰就是基督。

他父母因为害怕那些犹太人，所以才这样说，因为那些犹太人早就商量好了，谁承认耶稣是基督，就把他赶出会堂。

难道你比我们的祖先亚伯拉罕还大吗？他死了，先知们也死了，你以为你是谁？”

我们因为有这极大的盼望，就放胆无惧，

以利亚走到众人面前说：“你们三心二意要到什么时候呢？如果耶和华是上帝，你们当跟从祂；如果巴力是上帝，你们就跟从他吧！”他们都默不作声。

“我一直用比喻跟你们讲这些事，不久，我就不再用比喻了，而是清楚地把父的事告诉你们。
