The disciples replied,“ Rabbi, the Jewish leaders were just now trying to stone you to death! Are you going there again?”

门徒对他说：“拉比，近来犹太人要拿石头打你，你还到那里去吗？”

门徒们说：“拉比，近来犹太人想用石头砸死你，你还再到那里去吗？”

門徒說：「拉比，猶太人近來要拿石頭打你，你還往那裏去嗎？」

門徒對他說：「拉比，猶太人近來要拿石頭打你，你還再到那裏去嗎？」

門徒對他說：「拉比，猶太人近來要拿石頭打你，你還再到那裏去嗎？」

門徒說：「老師，猶太人近來想拿石頭打你，你還要去那裡嗎？」

門徒對他說：“拉比，近來猶太人要拿石頭打你，你還到那裡去嗎？”

門徒對他說：『老師，近今來猶太人正想法子要用石頭打你呢。你再往那裏去麼？』

門徒們說：「拉比，近來猶太人想用石頭砸死你，你還再到那裡去嗎？」

門徒曰、夫子、猶太人方欲以石擊爾、爾尚復往乎、

門徒曰、夫子、曩猶太人欲石擊爾、爾尚復往乎、

門徒曰、拉比、猶太人近欲以石擊爾、爾復欲往彼乎、

徒曰：『猶太人正欲以石磔爾、夫子乃欲再往何也？』

“ But Rabbi,” they said,“ a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone you, and yet you are going back?”

“ But Rabbi,” they said,“ a short time ago the Jews there tried to kill you with stones. Are you still going back?”

The disciples said to him,“ Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone you, and are you going there again?”

But his disciples objected.“ Rabbi,” they said,“ only a few days ago the people in Judea were trying to stone you. Are you going there again?”

“ Rabbi,” the disciples told him,“ just now the Jews tried to stone you, and you’re going there again?”

The disciples* said to Him,“ Rabbi, the Jews were just now seeking to stone You, and yet You are going there again?”

The disciples said to Him,“ Rabbi, lately the Jews sought to stone You, and are You going there again?”

The disciples say unto him, Rabbi, the Jews were but now seeking to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

“ Rabbi,” the disciples told Him,“ just now the Jews tried to stone You, and You’re going there again?”

[ His] disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

The disciples asked him,“ Rabbi, the Jews were just trying to stone you. Are you going there again?”

The Jewish leaders picked up rocks again to stone him to death.

Then they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out from the temple area.

Then they attempted again to seize him, but he escaped their clutches.

From that time on Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests, and experts in the law, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him:“ God forbid, Lord! This must not happen to you!”But he turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but on man’s.”

In the LORD I have taken shelter. How can you say to me,“ Flee to a mountain like a bird!For look, the wicked prepare their bows, they put their arrows on the strings, to shoot in the darkness at the morally upright.When the foundations are destroyed, what can the godly accomplish?”

But I do not consider my life worth anything to myself, so that I may finish my task and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace.

and elaborate greetings in the marketplaces, and to have people call them‘ Rabbi.’

When we heard this, both we and the local people begged him not to go up to Jerusalem.Then Paul replied,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be tied up, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
