蓋人已蒙光照、受天上賞賜、得聖神之感、嘗天主善道之味、又覺悟來世之權能、後竟背教、則不能再悔改自新、因其復釘天主子於十字架而顯辱之、譬諸地土、屢得雨潤而生百物、供耕者之用、則天主必降福於斯地、其生荊棘蒺藜之地、必見棄被詛、終必見焚、

信之者不定罪、不信之者已定罪、以其不信天主獨生子之名、夫光臨世、而人因所行者惡、愛暗而不愛光、定罪之故、即在此也、蓋凡作不善者、惡光而不就光、恐其所行被責、惟循真理而行者就光、以彰其所行、乃遵天主而行也、○

彼忤逆之族、無論聽否、必知有先知於其中、

耶穌曰、非自上賜爾、則爾無權治我、故解我於爾者、其罪更大、

謝天主、常使我賴基督而獲勝、且藉我隨在播揚識主之馨香、蓋我儕於天主前、為基督之馨香、於得救者、亦於沈淪者、於此為死之臭以致死、於彼為生之臭以致生、誰堪任此乎、

乃於不意之日、不知之時、其僕之主人至、加以嚴刑、置之與不信者同科、

是以凡爾議人者、無可推諉、蓋爾何以議人、適以罪己、因爾所議者、己亦行之、
