予當自聖父遣發保慰恩師於爾、保慰恩師非他、即真道之神發自聖父者是。彼至必為予作證、

但我要从父那里差保惠师来，就是从父出来真理的圣灵；他来了，就要为我作见证。

“但我要从父那里差保惠师来，就是从父出来的那真理的灵，他来的时候要为我作见证。

“但我要从父那里差保惠师来，就是从父出来的那真理的灵，他来的时候要为我作见证。

“我要从父那里为你们差护慰者来，祂就是从父而来的真理之灵。祂来了要为我做见证。

“我从父那里要差来给你们的保惠师，就是从父那里出来的真理的灵，他来到的时候，要为我作见证。

“我将从父那里派遣慰助者来，他就是从父而来的真理的灵。他来的时候，将为我做见证。

但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來真理的聖靈；他來了，就要為我作見證。

「但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來的那真理的靈，他來的時候要為我作見證。

「但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來的那真理的靈，他來的時候要為我作見證。

「我要從父那裡為你們差護慰者來，祂就是從父而來的真理之靈。祂來了要為我做見證。

“我從父那裡要差來給你們的保惠師，就是從父那裡出來的真理的靈，他來到的時候，要為我作見證。

但那幫助者、我從父那裏所要差來找你們的、真理之靈、從父而出的，那一位來的時候、就要為我作見證了。

「我將從父那裡派遣慰助者來，他就是從父而來的真理的靈。他來的時候，將為我做見證。

但我自父將遣於爾之保惠師、即出於父真理之神、既至、必為我證、

我所遣之保惠師、即真理之神、由父出者、既至、必為我證、

我由父將遣於爾之保慰者、即真理之神、由父而出者、彼既至、必為我作證、

“ When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father— he will testify about me.

“ I will send the Friend to you from the Father. He is the Spirit of truth, who comes out from the Father. When the Friend comes to help you, he will be a witness about me.

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

“ But I will send you the Advocate— the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.

“ When the Counselor comes, the one I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father— he will testify about me.

“ When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me,

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:

“ When the Counselor comes, the One I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father— He will testify about Me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father,[ even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

When the Advocate comes, whom I will send you from the Father– the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father– he will testify about me,

“ When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.

惟父將以予名義、遣發保慰恩師、彼必教爾以一切、且使爾追憶領會予之所言也。

予當求父另遣保慰恩師、永與爾偕；恩師非他、真諦之神是已。世俗不見此神、不識此神、故不克受之；爾則識之、以彼與爾偕、寓於爾故。

吾儕均可為之作證。』

一俟真諦之神來臨、必能循循誘爾洞達微妙。彼所言亦非由己；有所聞、乃言之；當示爾以將臨之事、且必歸榮於予也。何則、彼將受之於予、而授之於爾也。蓋父之所有、亦即予之所有、故曰：『彼將受於予而授於爾。』

聖子非他、即以水以血救世之耶穌基督是已。以水以血、不僅以水也。尚有聖神為之作證。聖神者、真諦也。天上三證、曰父、曰道、曰神；三者一體。地上三證、曰神、曰水、曰血；三者同德。人證吾且信之、況天主之證乎？蓋天主已為其聖子作證矣。因是、凡信天主聖子者、自有作證者寓乎其心。（或可譯其心中自有印證待攷）凡不置信於天主之證者、不啻以妄證之罪加諸天主矣。無他、天主為其聖子作證、而彼人竟莫之信也。

而基督之妙證得確立於爾曹之中；

天主之復活耶穌、吾儕實為見證。迨天主以右手舉而升之、渠乃受所許之聖神、遂以此神傾注於吾人、是即爾曹所親睹親聞者也。

天神復示我以活水之川、澄澈如水晶、自天主及羔羊寶座源源而來。

即洞察人心之天主、亦曾為之作證、賜彼以聖神、一如吾人；

實以相告、予之去、爾之益也。蓋予不去、則保慰恩師不至。予去當遣之來。

識之哉！予將以吾父所許者、遣發於爾矣。惟爾曹宜暫留京中、靜候自天賦與之德能。』

且天主更按聖意、疊用異兆靈異、廣施聖蹟、及聖神之妙果、為之證明；不亦信而有徵乎？

耶穌曰：『倘天主真為爾父、則宜愛予矣。蓋予之來、乃出自天主、非予自來、有遣之者也。
