When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said,“ you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my lambs.”

When Jesus and the disciples had finished eating, Jesus spoke to Simon Peter. He asked,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these others do?”“ Yes, Lord,” he answered.“ You know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my lambs.”

After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” Peter replied,“ you know I love you.”“ Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him.

When they had eaten breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to him,“ you know that I love you.”“ Feed my lambs,” he told him.

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him,“ Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him,“ Feed My lambs.”

So when they had broken their fast, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

When they had eaten breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to Him,“ You know that I love You.”“ Feed My lambs,” He told him.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon,[ son] of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

Then when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these do?” He replied,“ Yes, Lord, you know I love you.” Jesus told him,“ Feed my lambs.”

So when they had eaten their breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?” He said to him,“ Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him,“ Feed my lambs.”

We love, because He first loved us.

Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not just please ourselves.

and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died;and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf.

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.

And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we must answer.

Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions.

for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father.

“ If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever;the Helper is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him; but you know Him because He remains with you and will be in you.“ I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you.After a little while, the world no longer is going to see Me, but you are going to see Me; because I live, you also will live.On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I in you.The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot)* said to Him,“ Lord, what has happened that You are going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus answered and said to him,“ If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.The one who does not love Me does not follow My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.

Therefore, I urge elders among you, as your fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and one who is also a fellow partaker of the glory that is to be revealed:shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not with greed but with eagerness;nor yet as domineering over those assigned to your care, but by proving to be examples to the flock.And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

Like a shepherd He will tend His flock, In His arm He will gather the lambs And carry them in the fold of His robe; He will gently lead the nursing ewes.

Take pains with these things; be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all.Pay close attention to yourself and to the teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

Jesus said to them,“ If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I came forth from God and am here; for I have not even come on My own, but He sent Me.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved* said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment( for he was stripped for work), and threw himself into the sea.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves the child born of Him.

The greeting is in my own hand— that of Paul.If anyone does not love the Lord, he is to be accursed. Maranatha!

For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.

And I will kill her children with plague, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;

Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble,and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is impaired may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

And I, brothers and sisters, could not speak to you as spiritual people, but only as fleshly, as to infants in Christ.I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to consume it. But even now you are not yet able,for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like ordinary people?

Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord,

and like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,

For through your knowledge the one who is weak is ruined, the brother or sister for whose sake Christ died.

Do not be afraid, little flock, because your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.

but I have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail; and you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

But Peter said to Him,“ Even if they all fall away, yet I will not!”

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to those shepherds,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should the shepherds not feed the flock?You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat sheep without feeding the flock.Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you searched for the lost; but with force and with violence you have dominated them.They scattered for lack of a shepherd, and they became food for every animal of the field and scattered.My flock strayed through all the mountains and on every high hill; My flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth, and there was no one to search or seek for them.” ’ ”Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:“ As I live,” declares the Lord God,“ certainly, because My flock has become plunder, and My flock has become food for all the animals of the field for lack of a shepherd, and My shepherds did not search for My flock, but rather the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock,therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand My sheep from them and make them stop tending sheep. So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore, but I will save My sheep from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them.” ’ ”

Again what more can David say to You? For You know Your servant, Lord God!

“ The one who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and the one who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

“ See that you do not look down on one of these little ones; for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Jesus* said to them,“ Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples ventured to inquire of Him,“ Who are You?” knowing that it was the Lord.

He also chose His servant David And took him from the sheepfolds;From the care of the ewes with nursing lambs He brought him To shepherd Jacob His people, And Israel His inheritance.So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them with his skillful hands.

But he said to him,“ My lord knows that the children are frail and that the flocks and herds that are nursing are a matter of concern to me. And if they are driven hard just one day, all the flocks will die.

And Jesus said to him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

“ Then I will appoint over them one shepherd, My servant David, and he will feed them; he will feed them himself and be their shepherd.

“ Then the King will say to those on His right,‘ Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’Then the righteous will answer Him,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink?And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You?And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’And the King will answer and say to them,‘ Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me.’“ Then He will also say to those on His left,‘ Depart from Me, you accursed people, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink;I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’Then they themselves also will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or as a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’Then He will answer them,‘ Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for Me, either.’

I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the Lord.

“ Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you knowledge and understanding.

“ Please, Lord, just remember how I have walked before You wholeheartedly and in truth, and have done what is good in Your sight!” And Hezekiah wept profusely.

He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon the son of John; you shall be called Cephas”( which is translated Peter).

Peter* said to Him,“ Lord, why can I not follow You right now? I will lay down my life for You.”

He* said to him again, a second time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” He* said to Him,“ Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He* said to him,“ Shepherd My sheep.”He* said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was hurt because He said to him the third time,“ Do you love Me?” And he said to Him,“ Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus* said to him,“ Tend My sheep.

But Peter replied to Him,“ Even if they all fall away because of You, I will never fall away!”

Peter* said to Him,“ Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” All the disciples said the same thing as well.
