After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” Peter replied,“ you know I love you.”“ Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him.

So when they had broken their fast, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

When they had eaten breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to Him,“ You know that I love You.”“ Feed My lambs,” He told him.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon,[ son] of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

Then when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these do?” He replied,“ Yes, Lord, you know I love you.” Jesus told him,“ Feed my lambs.”

We love him, because he first loved us.

Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

whom, not having known, you love. In him, though now you don’t see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory,

For the love of Christ constrains us; because we judge thus, that one died for all, therefore all died.He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love. Amen.

There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account.

Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.

Therefore I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed.Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily, not for dishonest gain, but willingly;not as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that doesn’t fade away.

He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.

Be diligent in these things. Give yourself wholly to them, that your progress may be revealed to all.Pay attention to yourself and to your teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

Therefore Jesus said to them,“ If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven’t come of myself, but he sent me.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved said to Peter,“ It’s the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around himself( for he was naked), and threw himself into the sea.

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.

This greeting is by me, Paul, with my own hand.If any man doesn’t love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be cursed. Come, Lord!

For you were going astray like sheep; but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;

Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,and make straight paths for your feet, so what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.I fed you with milk, not with meat; for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, you aren’t ready even now,for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?

Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus,

as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow,

And through your knowledge, he who is weak perishes, the brother for whose sake Christ died.

Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.

but I prayed for you, that your faith wouldn’t fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers.”

Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood.

But Peter said to him,“ Although all will be offended, yet I will not.”

“ Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and tell them, even the shepherds,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed the sheep?You eat the fat. You clothe yourself with the wool. You kill the fatlings, but you don’t feed the sheep.You haven’t strengthened the diseased. You haven’t healed that which was sick. You haven’t bound up that which was broken. You haven’t brought back that which was driven away. You haven’t sought that which was lost, but you have ruled over them with force and with rigor.They were scattered, because there was no shepherd. They became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered.My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill. Yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth. There was no one who searched or sought.”“‘ Therefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word:“ As I live,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd. My shepherds didn’t search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn’t feed my sheep.”Therefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word:The Lord Yahweh says:“ Behold, I am against the shepherds. I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep. The shepherds won’t feed themselves any more. I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.”

What more can David say to you? For you know your servant, Lord Yahweh.

He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me.

See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.

Jesus said to them,“ Come and eat breakfast!” None of the disciples dared inquire of him,“ Who are you?” knowing that it was the Lord.

He also chose David his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;from following the ewes that have their young, he brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, and Israel, his inheritance.So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

Jacob said to him,“ My lord knows that the children are tender, and that the flocks and herds with me have their young, and if they overdrive them one day, all the flocks will die.

Jesus answered him,“ Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

I will set up one shepherd over them, and he will feed them, even my servant David. He will feed them, and he will be their shepherd.

Then the King will tell those on his right hand,‘ Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in.I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.’“ Then the righteous will answer him, saying,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink?When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you?When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?’“ The King will answer them,‘ Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’Then he will say also to those on the left hand,‘ Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels;for I was hungry, and you didn’t give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink;I was a stranger, and you didn’t take me in; naked, and you didn’t clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’“ Then they will also answer, saying,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’“ Then he will answer them, saying,‘ Most certainly I tell you, because you didn’t do it to one of the least of these, you didn’t do it to me.’

I will set up shepherds over them, who will feed them. They will no longer be afraid or dismayed, neither will any be lacking,” says Yahweh.

I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

“ Remember now, Yahweh, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him, and said,“ You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas”( which is by interpretation, Peter).

Peter said to him,“ Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”

He said to him again a second time,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?” He said to him,“ Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you.” He said to him,“ Tend my sheep.”He said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you have affection for me?” Peter was grieved because he asked him the third time,“ Do you have affection for me?” He said to him,“ Lord, you know everything. You know that I have affection for you.” Jesus said to him,“ Feed my sheep.

But Peter answered him,“ Even if all will be made to stumble because of you, I will never be made to stumble.”

Peter said to him,“ Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you.” All of the disciples also said likewise.
