Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard him say,“ It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him( for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water.

Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Simon Peter,“ It is the Lord!” As soon as Peter heard that, he put his coat on. He had taken it off earlier. Then he jumped into the water.

That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea.

Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter,“ It’s the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his tunic( for he had stripped for work), jumped into the water, and headed to shore.

The disciple, the one Jesus loved, said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tied his outer clothing around him( for he had taken it off) and plunged into the sea.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved* said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment( for he was stripped for work), and threw himself into the sea.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment( for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.

That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his coat about him( for he was naked), and cast himself into the sea.

Therefore the disciple, the one Jesus loved, said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tied his outer garment around him( for he was stripped) and plunged into the sea.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt[ his] fisher’s coat[ unto him],( for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” So Simon Peter, when he heard that it was the Lord, tucked in his outer garment( for he had nothing on underneath it), and plunged into the sea.

That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved said to Peter,“ It’s the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around himself( for he was naked), and threw himself into the sea.

One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him. (niv)

the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. (niv)

When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her,“ Woman, here is your son,” (niv)

So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said,“ They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!” (niv)

For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. (niv)

The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. (niv)

Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them.( This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said,“ Lord, who is going to betray you?”) (niv)

If anyone asks you,‘ Why are you doing this?’ say,‘ The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’” (niv)

Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one’s house for love, it would be utterly scorned. (niv)

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. (niv)

After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. (niv)

This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true. (niv)

Thomas said to him,“ My Lord and my God!” (niv)

“ Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied,“ tell me to come to you on the water.”“ Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. (niv)

Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven— as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” (niv)

You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. (niv)

“ Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” (niv)

My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. (niv)
