Then Jesus told him,“ Go back home. Your son will live!” And the man believed what Jesus said and started home.

“ Go,” Jesus replied,“ your son will live.” The man took Jesus at his word and departed.

He looked at them and said,“ Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.

and listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed.So Paul called to him in a loud voice,“ Stand up!” And the man jumped to his feet and started walking.

“ What do you mean,‘ If I can’?” Jesus asked.“ Anything is possible if a person believes.”The father instantly cried out,“ I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!”

But Elijah said to her,“ Don’t be afraid! Go ahead and do just what you’ve said, but make a little bread for me first. Then use what’s left to prepare a meal for yourself and your son.For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the Lord sends rain and the crops grow again!”So she did as Elijah said, and she and Elijah and her family continued to eat for many days.

Abraham reasoned that if Isaac died, God was able to bring him back to life again. And in a sense, Abraham did receive his son back from the dead.

“ Good answer!” he said.“ Now go home, for the demon has left your daughter.”And when she arrived home, she found her little girl lying quietly in bed, and the demon was gone.

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

Jesus responded,“ Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
