耶穌因謂之曰：『爾能恪守吾道、是真吾徒、

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said,“ If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

Jesus spoke to the Jews who had believed him.“ If you obey my teaching,” he said,“ you are really my disciples.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,“ If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,

Jesus said to the people who believed in him,“ You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.

Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,“ If you continue in my word, you really are my disciples.

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,“ If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples;

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him,“ If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples;

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word,[ then] are ye my disciples indeed;

Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed him,“ If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciples

Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him,“ If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.

Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.“ I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me.If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he withers. They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be My disciples.“ As the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you. Remain in My love.

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed. You know those who taught you,

Pay close attention to your life and your teaching; persevere in these things, for by doing this you will save both yourself and your hearers.

From that moment many of His disciples turned back and no longer accompanied Him.Therefore Jesus said to the Twelve,“ You don’t want to go away too, do you?”Simon Peter answered,“ Lord, who will we go to? You have the words of eternal life.We have come to believe and know that You are the Holy One of God!”Jesus replied to them,“ Didn’t I choose you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is the Devil!”He was referring to Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son, one of the Twelve, because he was going to betray Him.

If you fear the Lord, worship and obey Him, and if you don’t rebel against the Lord’s command, then both you and the king who rules over you will follow the Lord your God.

if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith and are not shifted away from the hope of the gospel that you heard. This gospel has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become a servant of it.

For we have become companions of the Messiah if we hold firmly until the end the reality that we had at the start.

But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but one who does good works— this person will be blessed in what he does.

eternal life to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality;

Then Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said about him,“ Here is a true Israelite; no deceit is in him.”

Therefore, consider God’s kindness and severity: severity toward those who have fallen but God’s kindness toward you— if you remain in His kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.

because My flesh is real food and My blood is real drink.

But My righteous one will live by faith; and if he draws back, I have no pleasure in him.But we are not those who draw back and are destroyed, but those who have faith and obtain life.

But the one who endures to the end will be delivered.

Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.

What you have heard from the beginning must remain in you. If what you have heard from the beginning remains in you, then you will remain in the Son and in the Father.

strengthening the disciples by encouraging them to continue in the faith and by telling them,“ It is necessary to pass through many troubles on our way into the kingdom of God.”

not like the covenant that I made with their ancestors on the day I took them by their hands to lead them out of the land of Egypt. I disregarded them, says the Lord, because they did not continue in My covenant.
