I say to God,‘ Don’t find me guilty. Instead, tell me what charges you are bringing against me.

Don’t take me to court and judge me, because in your eyes no living person does what is right.

In fact, you have already said I’m guilty. So why should I struggle without any reason?

But seek God with all your heart. Make your appeal to the Mighty One.Be pure and honest. And he will rise up and help you now. He’ll give you everything you had before.

“ Someone might say to God,‘ I’m guilty of sinning, but I won’t do it anymore.Show me my sins that I’m not aware of. If I’ve done what is wrong, I won’t do it again.’

All of our honor is gone. How terrible it is for us because we have sinned!So our hearts are weak. Our eyes can’t see very clearly.

Let’s take a good look at the way we’re living. Let’s return to the Lord.Let’s lift up our hands to God in heaven. Let’s pray to him with all our hearts.Let’s say,“ We have sinned. We’ve refused to obey you. And you haven’t forgiven us.

Lord, don’t correct me when you are angry. Don’t punish me when you are very angry.Lord, have mercy on me. I’m so weak. Lord, heal me. My body is full of pain.My soul is very troubled. Lord, how long will it be until you save me?Lord, turn to me and help me. Save me. Your love never fails.

Don’t remember the sins I committed when I was young. Don’t remember how often I refused to obey you. Remember me because you love me. Lord, you are good.

God, see what is in my heart. Know what is there. Test me. Know what I’m thinking.See if there’s anything in my life you don’t like. Help me live in the way that is always right.

Those who belong to Christ Jesus are no longer under God’s judgment.

But Lord and King, help me so that you bring honor to yourself. Because your love is so good, save me.

You have struck me with your hand.Because of your anger, my whole body is sick. Because of my sin, I’m not healthy.My guilt has become too much for me. It is a load too heavy to carry.My wounds are ugly. They stink. I’ve been foolish. I have sinned.I am bent over. I’ve been brought very low. All day long I go around weeping.My back is filled with burning pain. My whole body is sick.I am weak and feel as if I’ve been broken in pieces. I groan because of the great pain in my heart.

We should think more carefully about what we are doing. Then we would not be found guilty for this.When the Lord judges us in this way, he corrects us. Then in the end we will not be judged along with the rest of the world.
