All his days the wicked man suffers torment, the ruthless man through all the years stored up for him.

Sinful people always suffer pain. Mean people suffer all their lives.

Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’“ This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.” (niv)

You turn people back to dust, saying,“ Return to dust, you mortals.”A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night. (niv)

This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of people, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead. (niv)

We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. (niv)

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. (niv)
