For the company of the godless will be barren, and fire will consume the tents of those who love bribes.

People who are ungodly won’t have any children. Fire will burn up the tents of people who accept money from those who want special favors.

For the company of the godless is barren, and fire consumes the tents of bribery.

For the godless are barren. Their homes, enriched through bribery, will burn.

For the company of the godless will have no children, and fire will consume the tents of those who offer bribes.

For the company of hypocrites will be barren, And fire will consume the tents of bribery.

Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?”Those who walk righteously and speak what is right, who reject gain from extortion and keep their hands from accepting bribes, who stop their ears against plots of murder and shut their eyes against contemplating evil— (niv)

Is not your wickedness great? Are not your sins endless?You demanded security from your relatives for no reason; you stripped people of their clothing, leaving them naked.You gave no water to the weary and you withheld food from the hungry,though you were a powerful man, owning land— an honored man, living on it.And you sent widows away empty-handed and broke the strength of the fatherless. For what hope have the godless when they are cut off, when God takes away their life? (niv)

“ The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when he fetters them, they do not cry for help. (niv)

because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist them.The one who was dying blessed me; I made the widow’s heart sing.I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was my robe and my turban.I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame.I was a father to the needy; I took up the case of the stranger.I broke the fangs of the wicked and snatched the victims from their teeth. (niv)

Your enemies will be clothed in shame, and the tents of the wicked will be no more.” (niv)

The tents of marauders are undisturbed, and those who provoke God are secure— those God has in his hand. (niv)

He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (niv)

if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent, (niv)
