約百謂之曰、爾言如愚婦之言、天主賜福、我儕則受、天主降禍、我儕則不受乎、約百雖遇此、猶不以言犯罪、

约伯却对她说：“你说话像愚顽的妇人一样。嗳！难道我们从神手里得福，不也受祸吗？”在这一切的事上约伯并不以口犯罪。

约伯却对她说：“你说话，正如愚顽的妇人。唉！难道我们从上帝手里得福，不也受祸吗？”在这一切的事上，约伯并没有以口犯罪。

但约伯回答说：“你说话像个愚昧的妇人。难道我们只从上帝手里接受祝福，却不接受灾殃吗？”约伯遭此不幸，仍毫无怨言。

可是约伯对她说：“你说话像个愚妄的女人。难道我们从神得福，也不应当受祸吗？”在这一切事上，约伯并没有用口犯罪。

約伯卻對她說：『你說話就像個不虔不義的傻人在說話一樣。我們由上帝而接受福氣，難道就不接受災禍？』在這一切事上、約伯並沒有以口舌而犯了罪。

曰、爾出言、如愚婦也、我儕自上帝受福、不亦受禍乎、約伯於此諸事、未嘗以口干罪、○

曰、爾所言、乃頑嚚之婦也、我自上帝而獲福祉、茲之受禍、不亦宜乎。約百不以言取罪、又如此。

He replied,“ You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.

Job replied,“ You are talking like a foolish woman. We accept good things from God. So we should also accept trouble when he sends it.” In spite of everything, Job didn’t say anything that was sinful.

But he said to her,“ You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

But Job replied,“ You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.

“ You speak as a foolish woman speaks,” he told her.“ Should we accept only good from God and not adversity?” Throughout all this Job did not sin in what he said.

But he said to her,“ You are speaking as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we actually accept good from God but not accept adversity?” Despite all this, Job did not sin with his lips.

But he said to her,“ You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

“ You speak as a foolish woman speaks,” he told her.“ Should we accept only good from God and not adversity?” Throughout all this Job did not sin in what he said.

But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

But he replied,“ You’re talking like one of the godless women would do! Should we receive what is good from God, and not also receive what is evil?” In all this Job did not sin by what he said.

But he said to her,“ You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job didn’t sin with his lips.

受艱難之試而能忍者福矣、因歷試之後、必得永生之冕、即主所許愛己者、

所有禍福、豈非定命於至上主之口、人生於世、何可怨讟、惟當自責己罪、我儕當省察己行、歸誠於主、中心仰望天上之主、舉手祈禱、

我裸身出母胎、亦裸身歸土、賜之者主、取之者亦主、當頌美主之名、約百雖遇此、猶不犯罪、不以天主為不公、

兄弟乎、昔託主名而言之諸先知、爾當以之為受苦恆忍之模範、能忍者、我儕以為有福、爾曹聞約百之忍、亦知主賜其終境如何、蓋主最仁慈施憐憫、○

耶穌顧彼得謂之曰、撒但退、爾阻我、因爾不念天主之事、乃念人之事也、

耶穌謂彼得曰、收爾刀入鞘、父所予我之杯、我豈不飲乎、○

蝮類乎、爾既為惡、言豈能善、蓋充諸心者出諸口也、善人由心所積之善而發善、惡人由心所積之惡而發惡、我告爾、凡人所出之虛言、審判日必被究詰、蓋據爾之言而稱爾以義、亦據爾之言而擬爾以罪、○

生我身之父、懲我而我敬之、況賦畀我神之父、豈不更當服之以致得永生乎、生我身之父、暫時任意懲我、惟賦畀我神之父懲我、乃為我之益、使我成聖、可同於彼、凡懲責、受之時不為樂、乃為憂、後必為由懲責得練達者、結善義平康之果、

有望則喜、遭難則忍、恆於祈禱、

我嘗云、我必謹慎行為、免舌犯罪、當惡人在前、我必封閉我口、

大衛既核民數、中心不安、禱於主曰、我行此愚甚、大干罪戾、求主宥僕之愆尤、大衛夙興時、主命先知迦得、即在大衛前為先見者、曰、

如辱我、我何以掩我羞、或作我受斯辱可洗之於何處以色列中妄為者、人必視爾為最、爾可求王、王必使我適爾、

我儕各人屢陷於過、言語無過者、即為完人、能約束全身、

謂亞當曰、爾既聽婦言、食我所禁食之樹果、地必緣爾見詛、爾必畢生勞苦、始得食地之所產、

大衛歸己家、欲為眷屬祝福、掃羅女米甲出迎大衛、曰、今日以色列王、在臣僕之婢前露體、如輕賤者然、王榮何其大耶、大衛謂米甲曰、是在主前也、主棄爾父及其全家、選擇我、命我為主之民以色列君、我必舞蹈在主前、

其唇邊之言語、即其口中之罪孽、因驕傲、因出詈言誑語、必被拘困、

大衛曰、西魯雅二子、爾與我何與、爾今欲阻我乎、我今日始知為以色列王、今日何可於以色列人中行殺戮乎、

爾豈未嘗藩衛其身與其家及凡所有、使其所為無不亨通、使其群畜蕃衍於地、

烏斯地有人、其名約百、為人篤實篤實或作良善下同正直、敬畏天主、遠離惡事、生子七人、女三人、有羊七千、駝三千、牛五百偶、牝驢五百、僕從眾多、其人在東方人中、至富也、

拙者棄拙、行於明哲之道、則可得生、

愚婦笑言戲謔、戲謔或作諠譁蚩蒙昏昧、毫無所知、

其中五智五愚、

我祖祖原文作父全家之人、在我主我王前無不當死、乃王使僕食於王之席、僕尚有何理可辨、尚敢在王前鳴冤乎、

主目遍鑒天下、凡誠心向主者、主力助之、爾於此事、所行愚昧、此後爾必有戰事、
