And Jehovah said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thy hand; only spare his life.

The Lord said to Satan,“ Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ All right. I am handing him over to you. But you must spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand; only spare his life.”

“ All right, do with him as you please,” the Lord said to Satan.“ But spare his life.”

“ Very well,” the LORD told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

So the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.”

“ Very well,” the Lord told Satan,“ he is in your power; only spare his life.”

And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he[ is] in thine hand; but save his life.

So the LORD said to Satan,“ All right, he is in your power; only preserve his life.”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Behold, he is in your hand. Only spare his life.”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thy hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of Jehovah.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat:but I made supplication for thee, that thy faith fail not; and do thou, when once thou hast turned again, establish thy brethren.

Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.

For he was commanding the unclean spirit to come out from the man. For oftentimes it had seized him: and he was kept under guard, and bound with chains and fetters; and breaking the bands asunder, he was driven of the demon into the deserts.And Jesus asked him, What is thy name? And he said, Legion; for many demons were entered into him.And they entreated him that he would not command them to depart into the abyss.Now there was there a herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they entreated him that he would give them leave to enter into them. And he gave them leave.And the demons came out from the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd rushed down the steep into the lake, and were drowned.

And marked out for it my bound, And set bars and doors,And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further; And here shall thy proud waves be stayed?

Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.

And when the thousand years are finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.And he laid hold on the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,
