Such is the fate God allots the wicked, the heritage appointed for them by God.”

「這是神為惡人所定的份，殘暴人從全能者所得的產業：

從至上的神所得之分，從至高全能者所得之業是甚麼呢？豈不是禍患臨到不義的，災害臨到作惡的嗎？

不義之人的住處總是這樣，這就是不認識神之人的下場。」

重重地懲罰他，定他和假冒為善的人同罪，在那裏他要哀哭切齒了。」

耶和華必不願饒恕他；耶和華的怒氣與妒忌必向他如煙冒出，將這書上所寫的一切詛咒都加在他身上，耶和華也要從天下塗去他的名。耶和華又必照着寫在律法書上，約中的一切詛咒，將他從以色列眾支派中分別出來，使他遭受禍害。你們的後代，就是接續你們興起的子孫，和遠方來的外邦人，看見這地的災禍，以及耶和華所降於這地的疾病，遍地都被硫磺和鹽所侵蝕，不能耕種，沒有出產，連草都長不出來，好像耶和華在怒氣和憤怒中所傾覆的所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁一樣，萬國必說：『耶和華為甚麼向此地這樣做呢？為甚麼要大發烈怒呢？』人必說：『這是因為這地的人離棄了耶和華－他們列祖的神領他們出埃及地的時候與他們所立的約，去事奉別神，敬拜他們所不認識的神明，這是耶和華未曾允許的。所以耶和華的怒氣向這地發作，將這書上所寫的一切詛咒都降在這地上。耶和華在怒氣、憤怒、大惱恨中將他們從本地拔出來，扔到別的地上，像今日一樣。』

耶和華考驗義人；惟有惡人和喜愛暴力的人，他心裏恨惡。他要向惡人密佈羅網，烈火、硫磺、熱風作他們杯中的份。

是禍，是福，不都出於至高者的口嗎？
