其平日對上帝曰、我不悅爾道、勿親我、

其平日對天主曰、爾離我、我不願知爾之道、

Yet they say to God,‘ Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways.

But they say to God,‘ Leave us alone! We don’t want to know how you want us to live.

They say to God,‘ Depart from us! We do not desire the knowledge of your ways.

And yet they say to God,‘ Go away. We want no part of you and your ways.

Yet they say to God,“ Leave us alone! We don’t want to know your ways.

Yet they say to God,‘ Go away from us! We do not even desire the knowledge of Your ways.

Yet they say to God,‘ Depart from us, For we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways.

And they say unto God, Depart from us; For we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.

Yet they say to God:“ Leave us alone! We don’t want to know Your ways.

Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.

So they say to God,‘ Turn away from us! We do not want to know your ways.

They tell God,‘ Depart from us, for we don’t want to know about your ways.

They said to God,‘ Leave us alone! What can the Almighty do to us?’ (niv)

since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord. (niv)

Whoever hates me hates my Father as well.If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. (niv)

In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God. (niv)

The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. (niv)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (niv)

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (niv)

When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice,“ What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torture me!” (niv)

and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lieand so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me?Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” (niv)

The wicked foe pulls all of them up with hooks, he catches them in his net, he gathers them up in his dragnet; and so he rejoices and is glad. (niv)

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. (niv)

“ How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? (niv)

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. (niv)
