他会以大能与我相争吗？必不会这样，他必关怀我。

他岂用大能与我争辩吗？必不这样！他必理会我。

難道他是用大權勢同我爭辯麼？不！他一定留心聽我。

彼豈以其大能與我爭乎、非也、必俞允我、

彼必不以大能責我、反加體恤。

主豈以大能與我爭乎、非也、反必眷顧我、

Would he vigorously oppose me? No, he would not press charges against me.

Would he strongly oppose me? No. He wouldn’t bring charges against me.

Would he contend with me in the greatness of his power? No; he would pay attention to me.

Would he use his great power to argue with me? No, he would give me a fair hearing.

Would he prosecute me forcefully? No, he would certainly pay attention to me.

Would He contend with me by the greatness of His power? No, surely He would pay attention to me.

Would He contend with me in His great power? No! But He would take note of me.

Would he contend with me in the greatness of his power? Nay; but he would give heed unto me.

Will he plead against me with[ his] great power? No; but he would put[ strength] in me.

我俩之间并没有仲裁者，能够按手在我们双方身上。愿他使他的刑杖离开我，愿他可畏的威严不惊吓我，

就是把你的手缩回，远离我身，又不使你的惊惧威吓我。

我要把你们带到万族的旷野，在那里当面审判你们。

不，你只是渐渐地，藉着他们被掳与他们相争；在吹东风的日子，就用暴风把他们逐去。

我呼求的日子，你就应允我；你使我刚强，心里有力。

他心里有智慧，而且有极大的能力，有谁对他刚硬而平安无事呢？

他却对我说：“我的恩典是够你用的，因为我的能力在人的软弱上显得完全。”所以，我更喜欢夸自己的软弱，好让基督的能力临到我的身上。因此，我为基督的缘故，就以软弱、凌辱、艰难、迫害、困苦为喜乐，因为我什么时候软弱，什么时候就刚强了。

“‘我指着我的永生起誓：我必用大能的手，伸出来的膀臂，以及倒出来的烈怒，统治你们。这是主耶和华的宣告。

若论力量，他多么强大，若论诉讼，他说：‘谁能把我传来？’

我再没有忿怒，若荆棘和蒺藜与我交战，我就上前践踏它们，把它们全部焚毁。
