以其能平靜滄海、以其智擊破波濤、

施其大能、海波洶湧、行其大智、洪濤恬靜、

以大能使海洶湧、以智慧擊傷拉哈伯、又作以大能使海恬靜以智慧制伏波濤

By his power he churned up the sea; by his wisdom he cut Rahab to pieces.

With his power he stirred up the oceans. In his wisdom he cut the sea monster Rahab to pieces.

By his power he stilled the sea; by his understanding he shattered Rahab.

By his power the sea grew calm. By his skill he crushed the great sea monster.

By his power he stirred the sea, and by his understanding he crushed Rahab.

With His power He quieted the sea, And by His understanding He shattered Rahab.

He stirs up the sea with His power, And by His understanding He breaks up the storm.

He stirreth up the sea with his power, And by his understanding he smiteth through Rahab.

By His power He stirred the sea, and by His understanding He crushed Rahab.

He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.

By his power he stills the sea; by his wisdom he cut Rahab the great sea monster to pieces.

He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.

For I am the Lord your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name. (niv)

This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name: (niv)

You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them.You crushed Rahab like one of the slain; with your strong arm you scattered your enemies. (niv)

Awake, awake, arm of the Lord, clothe yourself with strength! Awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old. Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced that monster through? (niv)

God does not restrain his anger; even the cohorts of Rahab cowered at his feet. (niv)

The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever. (niv)

Judah became God’s sanctuary, Israel his dominion.The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back;the mountains leaped like rams, the hills like lambs.Why was it, sea, that you fled? Why, Jordan, did you turn back?Why, mountains, did you leap like rams, you hills, like lambs?Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, (niv)

“ To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his. (niv)

The seas have lifted up, Lord, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the Lord on high is mighty. (niv)

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:“ God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” (niv)

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble. (niv)

It was you who split open the sea by your power; you broke the heads of the monster in the waters. (niv)

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided,and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea.During the last watch of the night the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion.He jammed the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said,“ Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.”Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen.”Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the Lord swept them into the sea.The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen— the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.That day the Lord saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore.And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant. (niv)

The Lord Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted( and they will be humbled), (niv)

Unleash the fury of your wrath, look at all who are proud and bring them low,look at all who are proud and humble them, crush the wicked where they stand. (niv)
