“神为恶人所定的份，强暴人从全能者所得的报乃是这样：

这是恶人从神所得的分，强暴的人从全能者所得的业。

天主為惡人所定之罰、強暴人由全能之主所得之報、今將言之、

“ Here is the fate God allots to the wicked, the heritage a ruthless man receives from the Almighty:

“ Here’s what God does to sinful people. Here’s what those who are mean receive from the Mighty One.

“ This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage that oppressors receive from the Almighty:

“ This is what the wicked will receive from God; this is their inheritance from the Almighty.

This is a wicked man’s lot from God, the inheritance the ruthless receive from the Almighty.

“ This is the portion of a wicked person from God, And the inheritance which tyrants receive from the Almighty:

“ This is the portion of a wicked man with God, And the heritage of oppressors, received from the Almighty:

This is the portion of a wicked man with God, And the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty:

This is a wicked man’s lot from God, the inheritance the ruthless receive from the Almighty.

This[ is] the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors,[ which] they shall receive of the Almighty.

This is the portion of the wicked man allotted by God, the inheritance that evildoers receive from the Almighty.

“ This is the portion of a wicked man with God, the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.

For he has oppressed the poor and left them destitute; he has seized houses he did not build.“ Surely he will have no respite from his craving; he cannot save himself by his treasure.Nothing is left for him to devour; his prosperity will not endure.In the midst of his plenty, distress will overtake him; the full force of misery will come upon him.When he has filled his belly, God will vent his burning anger against him and rain down his blows on him.Though he flees from an iron weapon, a bronze-tipped arrow pierces him.He pulls it out of his back, the gleaming point out of his liver. Terrors will come over him;total darkness lies in wait for his treasures. A fire unfanned will consume him and devour what is left in his tent.The heavens will expose his guilt; the earth will rise up against him.A flood will carry off his house, rushing waters on the day of God’s wrath.Such is the fate God allots the wicked, the heritage appointed for them by God.” (niv)

“ Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the Lord.“ I will protect them from those who malign them.” (niv)

if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. (niv)

All his days the wicked man suffers torment, the ruthless man through all the years stored up for him.Terrifying sounds fill his ears; when all seems well, marauders attack him.He despairs of escaping the realm of darkness; he is marked for the sword.He wanders about for food like a vulture; he knows the day of darkness is at hand.Distress and anguish fill him with terror; troubles overwhelm him, like a king poised to attack,because he shakes his fist at God and vaunts himself against the Almighty,defiantly charging against him with a thick, strong shield.“ Though his face is covered with fat and his waist bulges with flesh,he will inhabit ruined towns and houses where no one lives, houses crumbling to rubble.He will no longer be rich and his wealth will not endure, nor will his possessions spread over the land.He will not escape the darkness; a flame will wither his shoots, and the breath of God’s mouth will carry him away.Let him not deceive himself by trusting what is worthless, for he will get nothing in return.Before his time he will wither, and his branches will not flourish.He will be like a vine stripped of its unripe grapes, like an olive tree shedding its blossoms.For the company of the godless will be barren, and fire will consume the tents of those who love bribes.They conceive trouble and give birth to evil; their womb fashions deceit.” (niv)

Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done. (niv)

“ So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice, but do not fear me,” says the Lord Almighty. (niv)

Is it not ruin for the wicked, disaster for those who do wrong? (niv)

On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. (niv)

Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty.You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter.You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you. (niv)

Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court,for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life. (niv)

Yet because the wicked do not fear God, it will not go well with them, and their days will not lengthen like a shadow. (niv)
